Rob and Sherrie Dias seem to be a interesting couple, extremely wealthy if I am reading their bio correctly. The Dias family is a conglomerate it appears. Ricky Dias is I guess a relative, somehow.
Heal has very interesting testimonies from former students. Diamond Ranch if what they are saying is true (which I don't doubt) is just another institution that believes punishing people is the only way to rehab. Problem is it appears punishing is addictive, the lazy/untrained counselors way of dealing with troubled teenagers. Plus it saves you money as owners.

Marie Osmond Son: Suicide Note Shows Sadness
Posted Feb 28th 2010 8:30AM by TMZ Staff

Marie Osmond's son, Michael, left a suicide note for a woman who lived in his apartment building, and shortly after she retrieved it she heard the ominous sirens below .. law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

We're told Michael Blosil was supposed to hang out with the woman Friday night, but left her a text just before 9 PM, telling her he had left a note for her in his apartment.

The woman went to Michael's apartment and his roommates let her in. Sources say the group found the note, which said, among other things the woman was his only good friend in L.A. and he was very unhappy.

The note also mentioned things he would be doing for the very last time. It did not mention suicide, but law enforcement sources tell us it was clear ... that is exactly what it was.

The roommates, who up until that point knew nothing was wrong, and the woman became alarmed, but very shortly thereafter they heard sirens and saw emergency vehicles on the street and figured out what happened.

We're told ... from the time the woman got Michael's text to the time they heard sirens ... it was a very short time span.

Three years ago, one jolt after another hit Marie Osmond's family: the singer divorced her husband of 20 years, her father died at age 90, and her teenage son Michael went into rehab.

By 2008, Osmond and her eight children had left Utah and the home she had shared with her ex Brian Blosil, headed for a new life in Las Vegas, her career rejuvenated by her appearance in 2007 on Dancing with the Stars.

It was a fresh start for her son Michael, too.

Back in 2007, the teen spent time in rehab for substance abuse. At the time, Osmond's brother Donny told PEOPLE that his sister had been dealing with Michael's issues "for a very long time."

But by 2008, Michael, a talented musician and high school senior, appeared to be doing better: Mom boasted in her book Might As Well Laugh About It that he "had been accepted into a performing arts program for high school students."

Last fall, he enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. One of Michael's close friends says he "was happy" and "loved" L.A. – and the move made Osmond happy, too.

"Wow, I'm proud of that kid!" she Tweeted in October. "He really took charge of his future."

That included giving himself a new last name: Michael (who, like four of his siblings, was adopted) legally changed his last name recently from Blosil to Bryan.

PEOPLE has learned the teen was estranged from his music-producer father and that the pair had not spoken for months.

His new last name will appear on his death certificate – Michael committed suicide by jumping from the eighth-floor balcony of his downtown Los Angeles apartment.

"We've received notification from his attorney that his name was changed, so we've changed our documentation," L.A. County Coroner Assistant Chief Ed Winter says.

Osmond family members and sources would not discuss in detail the problems between Michael and his father, and Blosil declined to comment to PEOPLE on his son's death.

Osmond, who had visited Michael often in L.A., "is absolutely devastated," Dancing partner Jonathan Roberts tells PEOPLE, recalling how the singer visited her son during his stint in rehab. Says Roberts, "We'd stop our lessons so she could call. She would always make time for her kids. She is such a good mother."

Notes the family friend, "Marie knew Michael was troubled, but I don't think she ever thought he would take his life."

Marie Osmond's Son Was Estranged from Father at Time of Suicide
      By Elizabeth Leonard
      Thursday March 18, 2010 10:30 AM EDT

At the funeral  for Michael Bryan, Marie Osmond's 18-year-old adopted son who had committed suicide, there was one family member noticeably absent: the teenager's father, Brian Blosil.

Michael had grown estranged from his father in recent years to the point he had petitioned to legally change his last name from "Blosil" to "Bryan."

"My relationship with my father while I lived at [home] was extremely strained," Michael wrote in an Aug. 28, 2009, petition for a name change with the Utah Country Court. "At the present time, I have no relationship with my father and have no desire to continue to carry his last name."

His request was granted on March 1 and his death certificate refers to him as "Michael Bryan."

The reason for the estrangement isn't immediately known; Blosil, reached by phone by PEOPLE, declined to comment, and a rep for Osmond also didn't comment.

Michael wasn't the only Osmond sibling to have a troubled relationship with Blosil, whom Osmond divorced in 2007 after 20 years of marriage, with Osmond getting sole custody and visitation rights for Blosil.

Osmond's 22-year-old daughter Jessica applied to drop "Blosil" – and take the name of "Osmond" – in a motion filed in January with the same Utah County court.

"While I lived with my parents, my relationship with my father, Brian Blosil, was extremely strained," she wrote in her name change affidavit. "At the present time, I have no relationship with my father and have no desire to continue to carry his last name. ... I wish to be known by my mother's surname, Osmond."

She was granted the name change on March 5, one week after Michael's death.

Another of Marie's seven surviving children, Rachael Blosil, 20, spoke of their father during the funeral service for Michael, held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel in Provo, Utah.

"A couple of years ago I asked Michael to give me away at my wedding," she told mourners. "For those of you who don't know the situation, my father and I don't get along too well, so I figured since [Michael] knew me the best, he should have that right."

Walters daughter went to one of the cedu schools. Her name is Jacquie Danforth. She then tried to complete a degree a few times and never got the hang of it. Eventually she opened a wilderness program for girls that closed down during the economic down turn
