Fornits is referred to as far right wing because the owner and admins are all Libertarians politically. They believe that programs should be completely unregulated and that governement shouldn't be involved in people's lives at all. This is repeated many places on this forum, so I think that's the reason, and why it's accurate, that fornits is referred to as far right wing.
There are people who post on this site who believe the government should regulate and shut down programs, but that does not represent the official fornits position of it's owners and operators.
Basically this.  There is no official Fornits position on anything.  Just because Ginger or myself may adhere to those ideals does not mean the rest of the forum does, as you've noted.  You're right that they were probably referring to the libertarian slant, though.  If you measure left-right as big govt to small govt, respectively, libertarianism would indeed be far to the right.

well i guess you missed the part when Fornits was a feeder-forum for senator miller's GAO hearings and the stop institutionalized child abuse bill around a year and a half ago? there was overwhelming support on fornits for miller's work, both online and in person at the hearings.

And when that fell though, I lost any remaining faith I had in the government.

or maybe you missed the part where fornits was a crucial player in the lawsuit and bankruptcy of Hidden Lake Academy

Libertarians generally do not have a problem with lawsuits.  From The Mises Institute:

Such behaviors would be punished by the libertarian society. Upon learning of such maltreatment, many parents would file lawsuits against abusive firms, thus releasing very useful information to other prospective parents.

As far as i know, ginger has never expressed the views you claim.

I can't speak for her but I'm pretty sure she has.  If you search you will find.  The way I've interpreted her views is that the only positive thing that can come out of the government brewhaha is to draw attention to the issue in the public eye.

I mean it's either that, or try to take out each institution one by one brick by brick through bad publicity, which is a waste of time.

It works if you work at it.  Example: Benchmark's enrollment went down 80% after the website I put up about them by their own admission.  It's possible they were exaggerating but I doubt they would have gone through the trouble to sue me if websites didn't have a significant affect.

Other websites have accomplished similar goals as well.  A significant portion of parents will Google schools before they send their kids off.  A website providing compelling evidence of wrongdoing on the part of a school will affect enrollment and can force a place to close down.  So can protesting, especially if done regularly in a "siege" mode, such as with KHK/PFC.

All it costs is the willingness to take the small risk of getting SLAPPED, but trust me, it's not that bad.  Unless you make stuff up on purpose to hurt them, you have nothing to worry about, and after the Benchmark case, I seriously doubt any other programs will try the same thing.  Filing a frivolous lawsuit cost Benchmark over a hundred and fifty thousand dollars in fees paid to our lawyers, plus whatever they spent on theirs.  I'd estimate in total it was close to half a million.

Anyway.  My point is that government intervention is rarely required to close down programs, and while you wait on that, programs are thriving when you could be working to stop them doing all you can, including websites.  I've helped others in the past set up website and would be happy to give help to anybody who needs it.

The reason it "fell through" is because the bill died in the Senate, along with a fuckload of other bills. The current HCR war has caused the Republicans to go on a full-on rampage with threats to filibuster absolutely everything, and that fucktarded Mormon Harry Reid lets them do it.

Government, like any other organization, only works when it isn't infused with crazy people.
