Seen the guestbook lately?

This site's guestbook is CRAZY!! Have you seen the stuff that has gone up there lately?? A lot of it made me laugh, but some is really twisted and sick.
Not that I'm not all for it. We need free speech and expression.
I wonder who the WWF guy is who signed it. I'd be interested in finding out.

Yes Peter, I did see it (thanks). Twisted and sick is as good as any for a description. I am in the process of removing these multiple offensive entries.
I obviously don't care whether peoeple have negative or positive things to say about Elan - this site totally promotes free speech, but stuff like that is just garbage, complete with some racist overtones in the diatribe against Marty.
To whoever posted that crap: The guestbook if for a single entry per person only, not to make a string a 5 or 6 angry rants. I understand your frustration - I have many issues with Elan as well... many of us do. There's a better way of venting than the methods you chose.
Please reconsider your actions and join us on the message board. No one will judge you.

Some "racist overtones"??? There was no "tone" about it. That shit was simply fucking vile. It was BLATANT racism and I'm surprised you don't know the difference.

Sadly, that seems to be true. No matter how disgusting you act, no matter how many slanderous lies you tell, no matter what insane bullshit your warped mind comes up with, if you join the message board and its vocal minority of malcontents who harbor an infantile desire to bring down Elan, you're welcome here, no matter what racist and sexist bullshit might spill from your slobbering mouth.
David, I've spoken with you on the phone and made it clear to you that despite our differing viewpoints I have a basic respect for you. Sorry, pal, but that's over. When you invite a racist, sexist, homophobic scumbag fuckhead like that to participate here and assure them that no one will judge them, as far as I'm concerned, you're just grasping at straws. Think about why several people - people who were in Elan when it was at its worst a hell of a lot worse than you and I ever experienced - have publicly declared that they won't be visiting this site, and think about anytime in your life when some asshole called you "kike" or "hebe" or "money grubbing jew" and maybe you'll understand why myself and others have decided to bail out for good. Between the paranoia of Silverman (yeah, dude, I work for Elan - like they're not so fucking cheap that they'd actually PAY me - and I spend my days not trying to put food on the table but rather pretending to be the parents of current residents) and your laissez-faire attitudes towards an obviously deranged, racist shithead, I think you'll succeed quite nicely in creating a site where the messages and responses are geared solely towards blaming Elan for everything that's gone wrong in your lives and making goofy, fantasy-like threats about getting the place shut down. Bottom line: your attitude towards that shithead is fucked, and you're fucked for inviting that piece of shit to participate.
