What can you do about bad vaginal odor?
« on: October 11, 2009, 04:19:54 PM »
What can you do about bad vaginal odor?

There are several reasons for bad vaginal odor that can be caused by several things including Bacterial Vaginosis and other vaginal infections. Women have a normal odor-free clear/white discharge, but it's when the discharge becomes discolored or accompanied by a foul odor that you might have a problem. Sexually transmitted diseases (STD) such as trichonomis or gonorrhea may also explain bad vaginal odor. Often, even a yeast infection can cause an unpleasant odor.

Some people find it hard to get rid of vagina odor. There are several ways to fight this depending on the reason for the problem.

You definitely need to stop using oil based lubricants for any vaginal sex or foreplay if you ever want the problem to stop. Oil based lubricants cause many problems in the vagina. You can use either regular KY, Astroglide, or any doctor recommended, water based lubes.

Wash yourself with a mild soap. Be sure to rinse the soap off well.

During sexual activity, if you find it important to keep your vagina clean, it is crucial that your partner is clean and has not had anal sex with you. If he has, make sure that he thoroughly washes himself before any further sexual activity.

Check with your doctor to see if you have any internal infections such as a bladder infection or uterus/uterine infection.

If you are perfectly healthy, check with your partner - your vaginal odor may be a figment of your mind.

Excessive sweating is definitely a key part in bad vaginal odor.

If bad odor has been occurring for a while its possibly an STD, see a doctor as soon as possible.

Baby powder

* There is a theory that baby powder may contribute to ovarian cancer. Baby powder does not get rid of the odor, it just gives you a different odor. If you have a vaginal odor you probably have a vaginal infection especially if it is a "fishy" odor. Look up the question What is Bacterial Vaginosis? That is the most likely cause of your odor, see your doctor and he/she can clear it up for you.

Best Solution:

Use Margo Soap. It is manufactured in India using Neem Oil. Its antibacterial and antifungal properties cures and prevents all infections. It totally prevents odour. I sugested this to my girl friend and we are happy now.

This is actually pretty helpful copypasta.

The only thing I would add is that douches are seriously bad news, and can potentially make a so-so infection much worse, due to irritation. This even includes your simple vinegar and water douche.

And of course, feminine body sprays are horrible for you.

Talc is definitely a bad idea as well, as you copied, which is why new sex toys should always be washed once before use, as sometimes they can be dusted with talc.

Cornstarch, however, is totally safe, and I dust my toys with it regularly after I wash them.

Diet is a big factor.....When I was younger and in college I would try to date women who ate more fruits and vegetables than meat.  Heavy meat eaters tended to have more vaginal odor which tended to hasten the night.  Vegetarians were the cleanest.

Or, girls could just do the same as my wife. She always washes up before sex. So do I. Not exactly spontaneous, but we're both insecure.

Men have the same issue. Never blow a guy after he's eaten asparagus or brussels sprouts. A friend of mine has blown a couple of guys from india and he says their cum is absolutely vile. You would think it would maybe taste like curry, but he said they tasted like rancid garlic or something.

This is an excellent question.  Women could treat this medical problem like they're brushing their teeth.

What can you do about bad vaginal odor?

Go to the store and buy a can of whipped cream. Enter into odorous vagina and trigger the can. Eat up!
Funny but true... the compressed air released into the vag will come back out as snowy queefs, I kid you not. Open wide. it's gunna be a white Christmas.

Unfortunately, if the cream has any sort of sugar in it, that can cause yeast infections.

Not all "not so fresh feelings” are medical issues or even issues. Lots of time and marketing has been launched in campaigns to convince women there is some reason their goodies need to smell like a can of FDS “confidence”. If there is an issue that is aberrant from the norm, then homeopathic remedies or a trip to the pharmacy is not necessarily going to resolve the cause.
Problems like bacterial vaginosis can be caused by going from anal intercourse to vaginal penetration without hygienic precautions. They don’t have a crème for that at Herbert & Shrive.
Seriously, just get a fucking pap smear…and find out what your nasty man has been up to.

Vaginal Odor
« Reply #11 on: October 12, 2009, 09:08:13 PM »
Vaginal Odor

Girls may start to notice that there is a small amount of clear, milky white or yellowish secretion that might come out of their vaginas, even before they start to have periods. These secretions might be heavier around the time of ovulation, and may have a stringy consistency. They might also make a yellow stain on your underwear and have a slight smell. This is perfectly normal and a sign that your body is maturing.

What is not normal is a vaginal discharge that is brownish or greenish, looks like cottage cheese or has an unpleasant smell. These symptoms might mean you have an infection, and you should see a gynecologist or family physician.

When girls are having periods, they tend to worry that they smell bad. This is not true. If you wash everyday, change your pad or tampon frequently, and wear clean underwear each day, you should be fine. Sometimes advertisers suggest women need to douche to stay fresh, but this is not true. The only time women need to douche is if a doctor suggests a douche as a way to get medication into the vagina.
