Straight St Pete 81 to 83
« on: March 18, 2010, 04:06:18 AM »
Was anyone here in Straight in St Petersburg from 1981 to 1983?

I was there with my brother during that time.
I ran away after 1 1/2 years but came back then got my mom to pull us soon after that.

Thanks

Thanks for replying.
I saw your post about seeing William Rollins at Target. I remember him and Alice.

I thought I read that St Pete was closed in 1983. Did you go to another place after?

Take Care

I believe it closed in '93, but I'm not positive about it.  No, I didn't go anywhere else thank god.  I was 18 when I 7 stepped and there was no way in hell I was ever going back to anything like that again!

St. Pete Oct '80 -> Sarasota opening -> Fall `82. I think Sarasota closed some time in `83 or so. Most of the people who didn't get pulled at that time landed up either in St. Pete or at the LIFE program in Osprey.

Yep...I ended up with a girl who was the last to 7 step out of Sarasota, living with me to do her aftercare.   Ging...think you know who I'm talking about.  Not much has changed with her.  At all.

I didn't know there was on in Sarasota. I knew they opened one in Orlando.
I can't remember people's names but I remember faces and people from back then. Is there a list somewhere?
Thanks
