Someone who worked there until very recently told me there are 8 or 9 DJJ kids there as we speak, and that was the reason she left, because they scared her to death. If the school is housing young hard-core criminals and psychos, shouldn't it have a secure fence, shatter-proof glass, tamper-resistant locks? She said it didn't. If the neighbors knew this, they would probably rise up like they did over Mountain Brook. Paging Matt Akin, Dahlonega Nugget.

Man, that is messed up.  Does HLA have a license to take DJJ kids?  Time to contact the town board...

The above poster who said "he heard it from someone who just left" if full of shit.  He obviously made it up. There aren't any DJJ offenders currently at HLA.

It's time to contact Billy Wells... ( Billy doesn't want his adjoining property value to sink) The FTC for sure.  ORS(unfortunately) SACS(unfortunately) just for documentation..  There are five schools marketed on the internet by Buccellato and Co.  with the same address, same marketing pictures, etc.  Could be more, who knows.

HLA has long played the game claiming that there are no court ordered kids enrolled there. They do so by (only when confronted with facts, otherwise they just out right lie) claiming that the kid in question is always given a choice between prison, or HLA, therefore he's not ordered per se, cause he had a choice. No discussion is had on the fact that he was given a choice due to the fact that he committed a crime, and that he is generally kept there and cannot be removed, even if his parents want him to leave.

Wrong, truthtroller. I check out everything I post here before I post it. It all turns out to be fact. Go back and check it out. They're there.

Conference April 2009 Savannah GA...    After DJJ, etc... Scroll down to [G5]  Chris Grimwood Ridge Creek...   a little positioning..  Chris was the liason for Moutainbrook's marketing to the DJJ. when Buccellato was trying to open Mountainbrook on HLA campus,(after being shot down by the town council to open next to Billy Wells)trying to give the  notion to the DJJ that HLA, Ridge Creek and Mountainbrook did not share facilites.  It appears positioning started for Ridge Creek School.

With a name like "truthtroller" you ought not to be lying outright.  Obviously whatever connection you have ot had to HLA doesn't allow you any insider perspective.

I agree about contacting Wells, because his property is right next to a now juvenile detention center with no fence, locks, security system or security personnel.  If I were in his position I wouldn't let the little queer boy ruin the remaining meager value of my property.

wells has been anti-HLA since day one. If kids would so much as put one foot on his driveway he'd come running out yelling and screaming, then tear bucci a new hole on the phone.  He hasn't done anything effective yet, nor will he be able to. He also doesnt give two shits about the kids, he just wants to be left alone.

Correction -  Chris Grimwood is still with the little general, only Hollowhead left.  Grimwood is leading the charge at Ridge Creek, if you would like a teaching position or wilderness instructor position contact Chris.

No better time than now to buy the domain RidgeCreekSchoolIsHLA.com or some similar name and post the facts about HLA and Len Buccellato there.  A little SEO will have it Googling above Ridge Creek School on that query.  Everyone should know that RIDGE CREEK SCHOOL IS HLA.

These people know it's the same shit sandwich...

Quote
During this past spring (2009), the programming under the Ridge Creek name expanded to include Ridge Creek School.  Recently, Ridge Creek has expanded into the buildings of Hidden Lake Academy. This is currently a combination academic (4 days per week) and wilderness (3 days per week) program.  Currently (August, 2009) it is our understanding that those who enroll prior to August 15 are eligible for a $3600 per month tuition for the contract period -- a remarkably low price for this kind of service.  We understand that the tuition rises to $4800 for students entering after that.  We understand that Ridge Creek might be flexible about permitting a later entry at the lower rate for people in communication with their admission office prior to August 15.  Check with Ridge Creek for details.  Expected length of stay is six months, but this can be extended.  This opportunity targets boarding school students who have had a disciplinary problem and seek re-admission to the boarding school  they left.

The wilderness program has also set special bargain rates.

Ridge Creek will also accommodate students who complete their wilderness program and need to remain a short additional time period to complete academic requirements.

FamilyLight sm visited and inspected Ridge Creek back in the days it was simply a wilderness program. We are also familiar with the physical plant of Hidden Lake Academy.  We have confidence in the programming and the staffing.  We have seen the physical plant but we have not been able to assess the adequacy of the physical plant to meet the needs to students attending school four days per week.  We are not suggesting inadequacy.  We anticipate all is well.  But we have not observed it up close and personal. We encourage taking advantage of the bargain rates, but encourage checking out the physical facility. We emphasize that we anticipate that when doing, so you will find the facility satisfactory.

Note that we are not fully assessing the Ridge Creek program as it may or may not fully conform to our guidelines, at this time.
