SHOW US THE MONEY!!!
« on: August 15, 2003, 11:32:00 AM »
A question was asked on the PURE VOLUNTEER thread about private programs who pay "finder's fees" to outfits like PURE:

Who are these programs and how much do they pay for a referral?

Personally, I think ISAC and other organizations dedicated to protecting children from harmful treatment programs ought to be making this a top-shelf "investigative" priority.

Perhaps a good place to start would be the WWASPS v. PURE lawsuit which is more or less a legal battle between 2 competitors with serious allegations leveled by both parties against each other.

Doesn't ISAC have a team of lawyers with access to the PACER system where the full court record (e.g. depositions, discovery documents, affadavits, etc.) can be read?

I would think if it is that important to you Anon, you would sign up for PACER yourself and get it.  This smoke screen of Pure is really getting old. But hey, if you don't have any other scapegoats, go for it.  If I were them, I would be flattered at the attention you give them and any other anti WWASPS people. If you think you are fooling us, sorry, you are not.

Do your own investigation, what do you need ISAC for?

Anybody can read the lawsuit on PACER, but ISAC carries a big stick and has the expertise and resources needed to launch a full-on investigation which is sorely overdue.

ISAC is making a difference in many areas, taking on these REFERRALS R US outfits should be right up their alley.  Remember, this is a buyer beware industry and no one should be allowed to fly under the radar screen because they are anti-WWASPS.  That is a smoke screen!!!!!!

Damn, talk about butting in where they have no business!  From what I just read, this  ISAC could find out a kid's name and the facility and file child abuse charges against the parents and then bring my kid home so he/she could abuse the parents again?  What the HELL is that all about?

Sounds no better than the tactics that were used in Costa Rica.
