I figured it doesn't matter one damn bit to all the other bullshit happening in the world these days, but please take this post as a SMALL token of appreciation for all the hard work that went into the COMPLETE DESTRUCTION of the license PFC held in Michigan for over 15 years.
Here is an excerpt of a letter I got from John Wilhelmsen, the big boss at MCDH regarding licensing of programs. LOL!!! Gotta love this guy!!
"Pathway Family Center, license numbered 630740, had its license terminated on 04-20-2009."
If I ever get enough time again, I will drive to Lansing MI and personally thank this man for his diligence as a human first and license director 2nd. Throughout the last 8 years or so, John has kept a level head and worked with both sides of the PFC debacle, sometimes calling shots that seemed rather unpopular yet predictable considering the complaints were against the STRAIGHT INC machine, but through it all, his compassion for humans, not just kids, won out, as it should have. Hot damn! There really is hope after all... There is NO other license director that I know of in all these years who has "cared" or at least given the appearance of caring, as has John at MCDH.
As you survivor folks live out your years, please remember John and how he did the right thing, no matter who it was who was on his chopping block. He's one of the "good guys".
