Michelle and Todd,
My heart aches for you and your family tonight...after almost losing my son last Saturday night to a brain hemorrage, I can only imagine the pain you are in right now. Although the years and miles have separated us, please know that I have been in prayer for your family since I heard the sad news. God will give you strength to deal with your tragedy. Please know that my family in Glen Allen has been praying for you and your precious daughter. When I saw her picture, she reminded me so much of you, Michelle. Beautiful, vibrant, and so involved! I know words cannot console you right now, but I pray for your family, your understanding, and your strength to get through the days ahead. Be strong, lean on God, and let him lead you through these most darkest of days. He will be there for you and will provide you with the strength you need to get through each day. If there is ever anything I can do, please do not hesitate to contact me......I love you both....May God be with you, your children, and the rest of your family.
Love,

Todd & Michelle: You may recall i was working in Culpeper during the time Carol Anne was born. Darlene Tucker and I came to see Michelle and Carol Anne as a new baby shortly after she came home from the hospital to the apartment on Hendricks St. Hard to believe so much time has passed yet it is obvious that her life ended much too soon. Her contributions during her time here were immense and everlasting. I thank God for the privlege of knowing your family and pledge to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers for all the years to come. Dear Michelle, Todd, and Family,
It was with great sorrow that we read of the untimely death of your daughter to so cruel a disease. We were among the first to meet you when you moved to Culpeper. We had the great good fortune to watch as you grew as a family. Carol Anne's death while a great loss has given life to many others. I heard it said that "Why do people die out of turn?" The answer is they never do. What some may take many years to accomplish, others do in just a very few years.
May God's love and support be with you all now and in the days to come.

When I think of Carol Anne, I remember her from when I knew her best--a tiny little girl with giant eyes who I am pretty sure learned to swim almost before she could walk. psy:
--- Quote ---Despite her incredible attributes, Carol Anne suffered from the destructive illness of depression and bipolarism.
The Brown family encourages everyone who recognizes that their loved ones are suffering from this dreaded illness, especially teenagers during these most fragile years, to seek medical and consultative attention immediately.
--- End quote ---
Pretty fucking disgusting they turn a kid's death into a marketing opportunity... and they don't even bother to get the disease name right. Who in their right mind would trust their kids with these people... any of them.
Sometimes, i feel sorry for the depserate parents for genuinely getting conned. Other times, I just feel sorry for the kids for being born into a house of total fuckwits who get thrown into a panic whenever they turn on the news.
