druggies? white trash?
druggies, maybe. i do smoke lots of weed, and psychedelics definitely shaped the way i think and do things. but i have other responsibilities in life besides getting high so druggie- no, drug user- yes.
but white trash?
i go to an ivy leauge school in NYC, where i grew up. I did not loose my high paying job in the recent turndown. i do not bbq, hunt, or eat pork, or watch nascar. i prefer snowboarding, sushi and organic food, and i dont watch sports at all.
personally I never saw such a concentration of white trash before or since my program in georgia. at that place (HLA) someone who wasn't white trash stood out like a lone shining star on a cloudy night. even if they were black, they were basically white trash too. like the sydney poitiers of hicksville instead of london.
and as far as fornits not doing anything....
I've corresponded with at least a hundred parents of kids looking to place their kids at or want to know the facts about Hidden Lake academy. They have found me and contacted me through every channel possible. myspace, facebook, twitter, yellowpages, fornits, usenet, icq, email, by phone, by mail. even my mom's fax one time (who the F**K still uses faxes?). somehow these parents find out i'm an ex-student, and track me down. it used to be they found me through the facebook or myspace HLA groups i joined years ago, but i have since left those groups but they still find me. i'm thinking my contact info and reputation gets passed around through a rough network of parents. I have extensive conversations with them. 99% of the time after talking they pull their kid(s) or reconsider a more normal school with help within their home area.
and guess what? the #1 thing all the parents say drove them to ask more questions is them finding fornits. they see this stuff...and regardless of if they think it's true or not they cant leave it alone because parents do not take "what if.." risks with their kids. so they try to talk to the few people that are willing and capable of spending time explaining their experiences in a coherent unbiased manner.
HLA's enrollment was going down for a while way before the lawsuit. who do you think was responsible for that?
