My chest tightens now when I see a post from Carey (with whom I have had many nice personal conversations). I have never understood why fact vs. fiction is much of a deal, because Joe Average only flies by most propoganda, ours and theirs, and we only hope he'll remember that some big behavior modification school is really bad. Antigen, with a lifetime of experience, just said it best: RAMPANT ravings get the attention we need. Heck with the tiny details. And if Carey thinks fact vs. fiction is going to sway a jury, judge, or the public, I believe she seriously underestimates the sincerity of these Americans.
This powerful forum seems to have weathered a few days of stupid WWASP-ie postings by essentially walking away from the crazy poster. This thing with Carey threatens to atomize us by responding to her very weird rantings. This happened once before with some possible evidence that Carey thought should be public instead of held for a personal lawsuit. She shattered the spine of another group there for a while.
Most of us here want to see this type of child prison outlawed. It seems to be the best way to kill the dragon; behead it. If Carey wants to jump up and down in front of the dragon, yelling about how dragons with green scales are usually killed before dragons with yellow scales, well, then let her. Maybe the dragon will focus on her so much that it can't see us creeping up into its underbelly to slash it to bits.
If Carey really thinks Coldwater, The Movie is the make-it-or-break-it issue, then she should direct her tirade to the produceers and make sure they make a good/true/entertaining movie. We're supposedly all on the same boat here, Carey, but we must all pull our oars in the same direction to get anywhere.
PLEASE, focus on WWASPS and it's ilk...not on each other.
