Not voting

I already via the mail ballot, which was a scan-tron type of sheet so luckily no computer confusion here. i was surprised how easy it was to get a mail ballot, and with the super long lines and computer irregularities, i think more people will be voting by mail in the future. it's hard to find an excuse not to vote when it's so easy. they even have a website that lets you go on and confirm that they received and accepted your ballot. There were way too many important ballot propositions to not vote this year, plus I felt it worth my time to keep that disaster of a campaign mcCain away from the big red button.. scary.  :seg2:

Froderik:

--- Quote from: "Wharbargggglllll" ---People that like to biatch about how "both candidates suck, it's douchebag vs turd sandwich" are the same type of people that like to brag about not having a TV and hate all music but their bootleg copy of an Eskimo tribe that creates music by hitting different sized seal bones. You aren't edgy, cool or more intelligent just like you weren't edgy, smart or cool when you were stealing your moms eyeliner in high school. Grow up.
--- End quote ---
I dunno, I kinda like the 'butt-puglican vs. demo-crap' brand of skepticism...

What if you really don't like either candidate? I'd sooner write in "none of the above", Willie Nelson, or some cool 3rd party candidate before casting my vote for the "lesser of two evils." And no, I don't like TV all that much (although this is not always the case; i like to catch certain series on DVD now and then) and would probably not turn off the Eskimo music either, so consequentially, the quote doesn't contain much in the way of humor that I can see...

Additionally, I found South Park's " douchebag vs turd sandwich" bit rather humorous. Call me crazy or pretentious or whatever, and I'd probably call you another boring "grown-up" lacking sense of humor...

Loli:
So, Antigen, after discovering your vote didn't count, did you file a complaint or follow up?

Antigen:
Not individually, but I did my best to bring attention to the ongoing journalistic and criminal investigations. You?

Somehow I didn't think you would.

Vote or don't vote.  I don't care.  But whining about it and making fun of people who DO value that right makes no sense to me.   Like you're so above it all.   ::)  Gimme a break.  It IS just like those emo kids who assert that no music that has any amount of popularity can possibly have any value.
