Deborah makes several good points, not the least of which is it's gonna take a lot more than a movie to effect meaningful reform and regulation of a Goliath size industry.

An "industry" which as Carey suggests hasn't just attracted it's fair share of profiteers, but also many adversaries, including parents and children with apparently questionable motives and/or a hidden agenda for "speaking out".

In the end, those who have stayed true to the course will be the richer while those who could not (or would not) keep their fingers out-of-the-pie will have much to atone for.

By "richer", I am not referring to financial reward but rather a deep and profound sense of appreciation and reverence for "all things good" that comes when a long and bitter struggle ends with a clear and irrevocable victory for humanitarians.

Carey, why do you feel that you have to write posts from you posing as other people?  Seems to me that your just looking for money? Its america, anyone can make a fictional movie based on realistic events. You have made it very obvious that you dont support the film, Its not okay to beat kids carey, your making a fool of yourself and any person in there right mind would think its right that someone will acutally be willing to dedicate a movie like this to the kids that have died or been killed. Your clearly staing that there is absoloutley no good in fictional movies. Of course his attorneys support the movie, because it makes all of us sick to think that you support abuse. Your point has already been made clear and thats what shocks everyone. You are one greedy jelous person.

Enough already Anon. Carey admitted that enough had been said. And quiet frankly it sounds foolish when you suggest that Carey supports abuse. Anyone who is aware of her story knows this is BS. Nor do I perceive her as greedy or jealous. The fact that you two disagree about the intentions of this movie does not make her a supporter of abuse or automatically put her in the "bad guy" category. Good grief.

I admire her for speaking her mind and admitting when enough is enough. Did you miss that post, dear?

I also admire her for not posting anonymously. Who are you, and why do you hide behind "anonymous".   If you want any of us to take you seriously then expose yourself and stand behind your opinions and mistakes.

I for one am bored with your redundancy. You dear are sounding like a fool. Give it a rest.

Deborah

It should bother all of us that our "two lead plantiffs" are endorsing a fiction movie. And, it should also bother all of us that the media may have been pulled into this in order to help to sell this movie.

two lead plantiffs for what?  why should it bother you?  when did you file a law suit?  i don't remember anything about carey and a lawsuit?  who is this woman anyway?

Hey anonymous, I'm glad you reposted this thread because I was wondering if anyone knows whether the professional movie maker who shot footage at the conference in Florida was part of the COLDWATER, THE MOVIE project? I kinda get the feeling he/she was since the ABS 20/20 producer had to bow out at the last minute.

The film maker at the conference was not affiliated in any way with the producers of the Coldwater movie, although, they would have been welcomed too.  The 20/20 reporter, being a typical news person of this day and age, was off to Iraq to cover the one story that all media was on to that week: the death of the Hussein brothers.  BTW, the conference was open to anyone who cared to attend regardless of affiliations. It was not closed to anyone who wished to attend.  The only agenda was public awareness and education about harmful treatment programs, regardless of whether or not they receive referals from flying insects and their ilk.

Carey,

Please,here it goes again....

A movie is made because there is a story to be told.To insinuate that news was created to promote this movie is ludacrious. What about the Disney movie "holes" that came out a few months ago..You discredit the true message in exposing the vile WWASP programs ,their leaders, staff and other co-conspirators...They are the enemy not the movie, kids who have been tortured by WWASP.
How rude of you to belittle Chris and Ryan, their experience of WWASP.

Also Carey, no where in your posts do I read you sharing the fact,it was through Pure's website, the volunteers who had offered you so much support in your efforts to retrieve your sons from Dundee.....Apparently you have a short, convenient memory.

There needs to be 100 more movies to expose these programs and their evil ways.........
