I finally figured out something about why I have such a hard time holding a job. I have this annoying tendency to not pay anywhere near as much mind to artificial stratification as some others. I respect and admire people who impress me somehow and not so much those who invest too much of their time, energy and self importance in climbing a social ladder that I can barely even see.
