Here is the word from Miller Newton about what he did at Kids of Bergen County:"The treatment, he says, can work for everyone from a crack addict to binge eaters and young gays."

Here is what DavidPablo Escobar-Grant does after seeing a televised fight between Kids parents and people who opposed Miller Newton's cult: "I called my mother and mentioned it to her, and she replied that there was some doubt as to many of the methods being used, and if anything were done here, the harsher aspects of treatment would be done away with."

This raised two questions in particular: Considering that Newton claimed to be able to treat bulimia and homosexuality,  in addition to drug addiciton, who would consider this cult worthy of examination, let alone replication?  Secondly, how is it that the Rotary Club decided to give Kids of the Canadian West six hundred thousand dollars?

The answer to the first is the Rotary Club.  The answer to the second is that DavidPablo's parents were in no way qualified to assess an adolescent addictions treatment center or, they had very poor judgement.
