Sounded like some of the callers thought they needed the program. I wish I had heard the whole show. DAMMIT!!! Nice song at the end Bob

What is the estimated number in the audience?

Damn! I was out exploring country roads and missed it. Any chance of getting a recorded copy?

Why thank you Anonymous Poster, the song was by none other than Iggy & the Stooges.  It is called "Open up and Bleed."  Unfortunately, the song was recorded on a reel to reel during a concert at the Michigan Palace in 1973.  Because they wanted the best sound, they recorded at the fastest speed of 7 1/2 inches per second so the tape only yeilded 45 minutes of sound and this little gem got cut short because the tape ran out.
I brought it to the studio because I wanted something to close the show with a gut level intensity that makes a strong statement to what we all went through.  The drum beat, Iggy's taunting the crowd over his groups "lostness" in the music scene of Mainstream America, and the strip your vocal chords raw delivery of the lyrics all add up to how I feel towards the apathy of Middle Class America.  This is the song that Iggy would cut himself with broken beer bottles and stuff, so it also pays tribute to the self mutilators that went through the program as well.  I was really surprised that Rob played it, we was lucky.         Bob in Sunny St. Pete Florida

Inside a warehouse behind Tyrone Mall
we walked in darkness, kept hitting the wall.
I took the time to feel for the door,
I had been \"treated\" but what the hell for?
