Cold, sad, alone, unwanted, rejected, browbeaten, down-trodden, depressed, miserable, and pretty much every other sad and sick feeling known to man.  Then shortly after that we were bussed to Missouri because the great state of Texass temporarily pulled it's head out of it's collective ass.  Only temporarily though.

Pissed off.

Wanting to kick each staff member in the nuts for being such jackasses because they were working triple overtime trying to polish the CEDU XMAS turd.

Santa's workshop. What a crock of shit.

the CEDU XMAS turd.

Sorry, but reading that I couldn't help but think of "Mr. Hankey, the Christmas poop" from South Park.

In rap/Christmas open meeting (holiday raps were always the longest and the worst altogether - somehow it was this unwritten rule that you were supposed to come down hardest on the special days), crying my heart out, begging to go home in front of 200 people, begging to just be able to see my sisters again - I gave up begging for school because I was made to see that that was "manipulating" and "fake". And then finally at the end of the night/early morning getting blasted for "pushing feelings", but then being told that they all thought I was just about "broken" and had almost "hit my bottom". Going to some anonymous host home for Chistmas morning exhausted and dazed - no clue what the fuck they wanted from me or how to escape.

I ran on New Year's Eve.

Christmas was 1 of the 3 times a year I actually got to go home. I personally chose Valentine's Day to run, and never went back. I wanted my parents, and the program to know how much I loved them. I think they got the message?

Christmas is just another day when you are locked up and can't leave.
