Lon Woodbury goes off the deep end
« on: July 02, 2008, 10:46:20 PM »
It's all right, Fornits fans; whatever happens to this forum can't be nearly as bad as what happens inside Lon Woodbury's skull.

http://www.strugglingteens.com/artman/p ... 0630.shtml

It's almost poetic in its pure, unbridled sadism, and almost heartwrenching in its pity. The "Please believe me? I have to be right. Please?" is so complete, and he tries so hard to hide it behind a wall of written-for-college text, that's like a piece of artwork, like a painting of a baby being raped. (It's awwright, Mr. Woodbury. It's awwright.) The hypocrisy is barely worth noting, it's so obvious; and there's a growing feeling that maybe he's starting to realize, and desperately wanting NOT to realize, that at least 90% of the kids he's helped "place" in hellholes have been no-bullshit tortured.

He CAN'T afford to believe that- not at his age.

So we get this.

Quote from: "Ghost"
He CAN'T afford to believe that

Guilt is a glue...   Not just greed (least not unless he's a complete sociopath, which is possible).  It provides one more reason for him to un-see the obvious...  refuse to disbelieve his god of sadism.

But...  i don't know if it can be pure denial and/or intentional ignorance.  It's far too calculated to be....  I'm going to respond to his bullshit a little bit later if I have time.  This is one essay i'd like to pick apart.  I should start a blog on him...  he's been under my radar for far too long.  I think i'll call it "struggling twat" or something like that.

Ghost- Very well said. "he tries so hard to hide it behind a wall of written-for-college text".

It's transparent. It's pathetic - it's a LONgitudinall smokescreen.

Good old Lon would fit in just perfectly in downtown Harare with the Mugabe Regime.

"Respect our sovereignty - respect our freedom - There is no harm being done here !

<=>

Respect our purchasing power - respect our quack therapy bail out packages!"

"the more options parents have to choose from, the better choices they are likely to make"
Sales gimmick to protect the industry's robust profit margin. Your website is demonstrative of how having too many choices results in poor decision making. Talk about another tactic to hypnotize vulnerable parent's into forking over their retirement fund.

"colossal egos"
Headslap. There are no bigger ego's on the planet than the ego's of program power staff.

"There is no argument that there are some very scary private parent-choice schools and programs"
Which ones? Funny you never mention them. Funny you feel no obligation to address the damage done by them. Funny, that the former students from these programs are collateral damage - quack therapy guinea pigs undeserving of proper retribution.

The best thing that could happen to this industry is to round up as many CEDU staff members from the 80's and 90's and have them honestly answer to their experience.

Lon forgets something.

Kids in "scary" facilities that receive public (government) funding have rights that kids placed into scary private (parent-choice) facilities do not.

Lon accuses others of being control freaks... hilarious.
That entire essay was amusing. You can just hear his little brain ticking away, trying to rationalize his actions of sending thousands of poor kids to hell-on-earth.

Sometimes when these people start attacking others, I wonder if they're just projecting their own self-percieved problems onto their victims.

In this particular circumstance, I know full and damn well he is!

DannyB on the internet:I CALLED A LAWYER TODAY TO SEE IF I COULD SUE YOUR ASSES FOR DOING THIS BUT THAT WAS NOT POSSIBLE.

CCMGirl on program restraints: "DON\'T TAZ ME BRO!!!!!"

TheWho on program survivors: "From where I sit I see all the anit-program[sic] people doing all the complaining and crying."
