Teen Esteem is WWASPS--World Wide Association of Specialty Programs and Schools--currently under fire in the media and facing massive litigation for fraud, abuse, abuse rising to the level of torture, and a corporate culture of such blind arrogance as to defy understanding in the so-called civilized world. Programs in Samoa, Cancun, the Czech Republic and (just last month) Costa Rica have been shut down by a wide variety of third world governments-- but continue to operate in this country. My son spent 4 months in their Ensenada, Mexico facility. He has been home now for less than a month, and every day brings new stories made even more horrific by the matter-of-fact tone in which they are related. The people who own and operate these facilities are criminals.  Now you've been told.  I wish someone had told us.

So when is WWASP going to be held responsible for fraud?

The third and final parent seminar is called Visions. Each visions group is required to do a legacy project to "make a difference" in the world. This is a legacy project from a group of parents in a California Visions group. I think their website explains what they are doing. I know they started a Teen Leadership Camp. A lot of siblings of program kids attend this week-long camp.

Looks to me like these so-called "visionaries" need to get a life and a REAL JOB.
