I used to wish our voting system was similar to australia's, i.e. voting is mandatory. At least you can abstain when you get there and draw a giant cock on the ballot, but you have to show and cast a vote.

But then I realized, do I want all of the idiotic yahoos in this country who *don't* want to vote exercising the power at the ballot? Probably not. So fuck em.

You would actually be surprised at how few ppl actually do draw a dick on the ballot or bin it. Most just figure since they are there and actually genuinely vote. But yes assclowns do come out in force. How else to expalin 11 yrs of john Howard? at least Americans know that when they vote for a terrible guy like bush  (thanks to most not voting at all )
eventually he has to retire. i wish we had fixed terms.

BTW Castle- Are you the only person in Sanfransisco that votes republican????  or was that sign a gag?
So is the Hilary thing that she is considered the best of a bad lot? Cause a lot of ppl seem to like obama but he is not polling as well
