Sorry folks no longer is this an acceptable excuse for you being a programmie.

Just admit it.. you are a sadistic asshole with a seriously defective personality that needs to be rectified with a bullet to the back of your head.

The only real question..

Hollow points or armored piercing rounds?

Some damn thick programmie heads out there...

True, that.  Not only is the sadism revolting, but the blind ignorance.  Programs use techniques very closely related to those used in Maoist re-education camps.  Break them down, get them to believe 1+1=3, and you've got a docile beast ready for the People's Party.  When some poor sod left the re-education camp, he/she entered the world they were programmed to fit into.  What happens to a kid who goes through the same process, then re-enters the Land of the Weird and the Home of the Depraved? With it's non-stop temptations and 24 hr. access to vice?  You've got a very fucked-up kid.

Brainwashing doesn't work for permanent change, but that isn't what it was designed for. Brainwashing was a technique developed by the Korean army in the 1950s to make prisoners more docile and easier to handle. Which is precisely the reason that programs have latched onto it. They warehouse kids to make money. Brainwashing allows them to use fewer guards to control their prisoners, so they make more money.

As far as people continuing to believe that a program did good things for them, some people have to create such fantasies to live with what they went through.
