I just heard on the radio the other morning one of these 9 staff from a 'boot camp' program were found not guilty of killing some kid, even though there was a VIDEO of them kicking the crap outta the kid, and he did of asphyxiation... 
I saw that on the news also..
They were protesting the outcome of the trial because the kid that was killed was black and the jury was all white. I wouldn't doubt that the staff person was guilty, there are so many of this mother-fuckers that don't have the right temperment to be in the care of the youth gone wild.
From what I understand, there were multiple staff involved; probably fewer were charged than were actually involved in the incident.
It was the kid's first day, if I remember correctly, and they were going to show him a lesson or two for being insubordinate or noncompliant. If a kid keeps complaining that he can't breathe, who the fuck in their right mind would keep holding him down?
The genetic disorder that they claim they didn't know about and that is "responsible for killing him" is sickle cell anemia. Sorry, that may suck the energy out of you when not managed properly, but it sure as hell doesn't make you drop dead like that.
