About Tags:

Right.  In BBCode (which is used on fornits) you can use the [tag] to start something and [/tag] to end something.  In html you use to start something and to end something.  It's very simliar.

The b and i function identically.

text you want bold
text you want bold

The A tag is a bit more advanced as compared to the url tag in BBCode:

This following example should explain how to use it:

http://www.sueschefftruth.com . If a mouse hovered over, the title would display "Sue Scheff Truth".
