Hi all,
I have always felt that the troubled teen industry was too harsh on these kids. I believed that yes, thse teens may be rebellious, and yes, something needed to be done, but that military boot camp facilities were not the answer. So in surfing the net one day, I came across the site that I mentioned above.
www.63days.com It is about a survivor of cam Challenger foundation. I devoured all of the entries she posted, as she goes into amazing detail about her time there and this takes place in Utah. I began to learn that these places are not good, and they are a diservice to our children. Hell, they might as well be sent too jail if anyone can be an expert.
So I cam across your site, and have learned quite a bit. When I saw that this girl ahd an LJ account, I decided to help. Why should someone create an account when I can save time and do what I can for my fellow human beings?
So I have not learned much, and I prefer to judge these places as they are, good and bad, but I wil continue learning and helping others as much as I can.
I hope this helps,
Halima
