survivor reunion thread link

Hitler had the best of intentions, too. He and Ms. Pete.

Obviously, there were survivors of the holocaust, too. I am certain some of them even met with success and were able to get past the psychologically brutal torture and inhumane conditions.

It seems to me that anyone ignorant enough to crush a reunion of survivors would be the kind of person who ultimately is the same kind of person as their captors--a sadist who enjoys crushing others for sport and personal improvement.

No one is proud that their parents were so grossly decieved by these money-hungry perverse deviants who kept us hostage. However, regardless of what happened then, life (or something like it) moved on.

I see no reason to offend people who were held prisioner. If any of us made friends, it is unlikely that we ever got to hang out in the real world.

I think its a good idea, but only if people are the kind of people that would hang out and make friends in real life. There were assholes and and a bunch of ho's in the program I would not want to bring to my door then and I certainly wouldn't bring home now.

I'm just keeping an eye here to see if anybody I remember as cool shows up. That way, I can PM as I see them.

Keeping privacy here is a bitch, though. So is remembering names without details. Maybe somehow this post thread pulls together and people can make some good conncetions without the fucking hecklers. Perhaps even a few people who went on to have nice families, finish school, get jobs, have a clue...

We can have a beer or two. Decent Scotch optional.

That's the problem.  Most of the reunion attendees just love Ms. Pete and are grateful for the time they spent in LIFE.  I have no desire to be around any assholes like that.  But, that's just me.
