ISABELLE ZEHNDER (CAICA) HAS A BOARD OF DIRECTORS?

Great, please identitfy the members so the public, if so interested, may contact board members to formally address any concerns or issues they may have with CAICA.

As for the comments posted on this "blog" I find it hard to believe that not one addresses the core issues raised in the "Patti Atwoods" emails.

Isabelle Zehnder States:

This is a buyer beware market. There are no Federal laws in place to protect children who are placed into such programs. There is no governmental oversight.

http://www.parentpolice blog.

Here is my question for Izzie:

How can you make that statement and then turn around and advocate on behalf of PURE and Scheff?

Do you realize that when and if the industry ever becomes regulated people like Scheff will be put out of business? Why? Because she doesn't have the education and training (credentials) to recommend programs. Sure she had a bad experience with WWASP but that doesn't mean she is qualified to determine what a good program is.

What she is doing is dangerous. She is just another example of why the industry needs to be regulated. She is selling a false since of security to parents. It is wrong and it needs to be stoped.

This was posted on the troubled teen industry forum.

NOTE TO GENERAL PUBLIC and CAICA's BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

CAICA (and PURE) are listed on ISAC's program and referrer watchlist.

How sad, but totally predictable.  Unfortunately, I can no longer support Justice4kids given the statement by it's founder.  Just doesn't seem appropriate to me under the circumstances.

What kind of support were you giving to Justice 4 Kids? Were you financially donating? Or were you helping them with all the kids who are being abused in Florida? If so why would you stop helping when it's about the kids? That really doesn't make sense. And if you weren't giving money or helping them then I'm not sure what you mean that you were supporting them.

Wow - what's it to you, guest?  So what if someone wants to pull their support, whatever it may be.  That's their perogative.

Because people are so quick to spew out negativities towards people who are actually doing good for kids. Now isn't that what all this is about? What's best for the kids?

Hello?  Justice4Kids isn't the only advocacy group in Florida, or nationwide for that matter, one can lend their support to.   Let's not overdramatize someone's personal decision not to support this particular organization by suggesting in doing so they are hurting kids.  That's really pushing it too far, guest.

IS IT "best for kids" to refer kids to Sue Scheff/PURE for placement in programs; or to refer them to goons at Sunrise Adolesent Transports, HUH IZZY?

I sometimes wonder if people who post on fornits read all the posts or just jump in and start posting without knowing what they're even talking about.

If you go back and read, she didn't refer anyone to Sunrise to put a kid in a program. You form your opinions based on what you read on this board which is kinda scary if you ask me. But of course no one asked me. Ha!

I know she'd never do that, send a kid off to some program. She hates programs as much as you do. Get it?  :flame: Whether y ou like her or not you should know she'd never send a kid to a program.

She gave this fake Patti woman what she asked for. The number for the escort company antoher parent used to get her nephewout [/color]of TB.

This Patti was going to use the transport company to pick her familiy up at the airport in Jamaica, drive them to TB, pick up the kid, take them all back tot he airport, and the kid would go home with his family.  :D

They didn't want to use Jamaican drivers. Can't say I blame them for that, even though Patti wasn't a real person.  :scared:

And they all went home, happy ending!!! (or would have been if the story had been true!)  ::birthday::  ::cheers::  ::rocker::  ::peace::  ::drummer::  ::kiss::  ::heart::  ::rainbow::

And where exactly was IZZY's FRIEND SUE AT PURE going to send this child?   Scheff refers to PROGRAMS, guest!
And Izzy referred to PURE.

Good question!

Why would Justice4Kids support CAICA who apparently thinks it's okay to bash parents and kids who allege they were abused and defrauded by the now-closed Whitmore Academy?  Which isn't even listed on CAICA's facility watchlist unlike other CLOSED programs.

Shouldn't all victims of alleged abuse be supported particularly while a civil suit is still going on?  Or do only some abused kids tell the truth?

Justice for some abused children (e.g. WWASPS) but not others?

Hard to blame anyone for having a problem with Izzy or any org. that supports her kind of "advocacy", I agree.

Yes she did.  she referred Patti to sunrise to transport her nephew from TB to a program recommended by PURE.

OK.  Who are you, anonymous guest.  I am Michael Crawford who has provided ample evidence for everything I have said.

Well.  You know wrong.  She did do just that, through pure.  Another program wasn't Patti's idea either.  Patti initially wanted to find a regular academic boarding school for her nephew.

If that was true, i would have no problem with her at all.  I would be grateful.

Patti did not  initially ask for a program.  She was convinced to do so.

I know you have read Izzy's side of the story, and the very selective few letters she posted... but have you read the rest of the correspondence from the beginning?

Or for that matter, have you read the entire debacle from the beginning:

CAICA SPOKESPERSON:

You need to get your facts straight.

CAICA does refers kids to programs.  Izzabelle admitted that she helped facilitate the placement of a child in a PURE recommended program.

Ooops.

Yeah right.  Izzy referred a parent to an unlicensed, unregulated transport company in Utah (which as it turns out is owned by a former TEEN HELP admissions rep) as a TAXI SERVICE?

Hello?  That's an awfully expensive taxi ride.
