Undoing brainwashing

How do you convince someone they are brainwashed when they don't think so?

Is it even worth trying?

What is the best way to counter program brainwashing when getting out of a program?

What worked for you?

What didn't work?

Do you consider your mind free of program ideology and self doubt?

How do you convince someone they are brainwashed when they don't think so? You don't because the very notion of the idea implies that you are doing to them exactly what happened to them to be brain washed in the first place. Let them figure it out on their own. Present your evidence and leave the rest to them.

Is it even worth trying? Yes.

What is the best way to counter program brainwashing when getting out of a program? Time, time, and more time.

What worked for you?  Soju and some good friends who listened more than talked.

What didn't work? Jim Beam and my own stubborn belief I could conquer the Kool Aid alone. In the end it really did take my friends helping me to get as far as I have.

Do you consider your mind free of program ideology and self doubt? 1 day in 7 on a good week.

Why bother telling someone they were brainwashed if they are happy. If they say they deserved what ever insanity was inflicted on them then just disagree but if they are ultimately content them let them be.

n case you\'re worried about what\'s going to become of the younger generation, it\'s going to grow up and start worrying about the younger generation.-Roger Allen
