Work is bullshit. but I like to do it anyway-I'll have to retire soon enough if I make it. But you could really tell that the atmosphere around there had taken it's toll on the workers, I would describe it as a high energy work camp- like they walked the halls single file- hugging the wall and the smiles were sort of off the black hole sun video, well maybe i'm exagerating but I don't trust people who can talk and smile ALL the time.
I want to make money, increased sales, bread and butter you know, but the singling out of people to reinforce that group loyalty instinct just does not come naturally to me. I feel like it's wrong-anyone should. Really it is bad theory. I know why though and that's just not going to stop it. How would you protest it logically? It's a cooperate buyout situation and all the front-line managers are scared of all the head office managers and all the rest of us know is we got about 50 managers walking around watching everything we do. It simply does not work - I do believe in teamwork- always the best solution. what does LGAT stand for? Where is that Todd Rundgren looking guy when you need him?
