10 best ways to kill TheWho
« Reply #45 on: May 19, 2007, 11:24:41 PM »
The best way to kill the Who would be to let him watch his offspring treated to the advanced medical techniques of a Tough Love rehab program, then provide the means to commit suicide.  (Draino rolled up in Wonder Bread comes to mind)
The notion that there is room for debate on the practises of these places is inane.
We have one in Calgary, Canada, where I live.  The man who has run it for over fifteen years has been caught repeatedly lying about being a psychologist.  He is, without question, not a psychologist.  He lied about a career in sport that he most assuredly did not have, in order to ingratiate himself to certain circles, and he frequently lies about producing positive outcomes for children.
The children placed in his care suffer humiliation and brutality at the hands of both the staff and the other inmates.
He has no training in dealing with chemical dependency, nor in social work, nor in pediatric medicine.  He studied phys ed.
He claims to be able to treat mental illness in children, but as previously mentioned has no, and i mean no, medical background whatsoever.
And he picked up every single aspect of his program from one of the Straight spin-offs, where he harvested a little crop of Slaves for the Afterlife.
So TheWho, self-righteous, and in my opinion, likely practitioner of goat-fucking-autoasphyxiation, there is no positive side to the program from the perspective of a survivor.
The program is great for the scamming pervert who runs it though.  I suppose that the benefits reaped by the Executive Psycho are an upside to the Little Perv Palace and Torture Emporium on the Prairie.

And btw, it's impossible to "log in" as guest..

Exhausted (too lazy to login)
That one, it wasn't me

I have to admit, i haven't read alot of The Who's posts, I did read the one where he said about the duct tape and the tornado, replied and was put right about what a tornado actually means - other than that, I've only realy read a couple of posts where he directly talks to me - I'm not very keen on the fact that because i wont join mob mentality I get attacked for it

I doubt if it's a Fornits regular who is attacking and/or impersonating you... and if it is, it's a very bitter one.

Personally i would never doubt a program survivors story, it's horrific what they say, a couple of them have made me feel physically sick, as a parent and as a human being. But please bear in mind, alot of you have turned on peple who have come here with a story or asked about the troubled teen industry only to be automaticaly labeled a troll and seriously had the piss taken out of them, does that make you better people or do you just need someone to bully?

You're right.  I tend to treat most posters as if they are who they say they are.  The Who, on the other hand is not very straightforward on who he is, specifically, why he is trying to create BS statistics about casualties in programs.  He has also doubted the stories of survivors, been very rude, and, well ... here, this is a recent one:

Quote
The difficult part is when you are confronted with kids who appear to have done well in a TBS…for this you need to have some quick responses ready…check into:
Love Bombing ,
Manchurian Candidate,
Project MKULTRA
Or
Post-cult Trama

It's a rather, flippant, sarcastic remark considering the seriousness of the subject matter, and I have yet to see him say: "wow.. that's sick".  By including the Manchurian Candidate and MKULTRA, he is associating a very real phenomenon of brainwashing with conspiracy theories, and clearly gives little, if any credence to the stories of the survivors around here.

You know me, and you know I'm not vindictive or sadistic.  When I say he has earned my venom, he has.

To the rest of the crowd... please lay off Exhausted.  She is not "The Who" and treats survivors with respect.

Well,we all make crude potty mouth jokes.
When somebody make a post asking "what if my kid goes in a program",I think we all say "stop it from happening".

I was in a program many years ago,and I read about peoples experiences who were recently in a program, and its SHOCKING that we all REALLY had similar bad experiences.

Maybe we joke about it,but we all did share a very common experience regardless of the name of the program.
Personally,I think we were/are used a kind of research subjects,so thats why these bastards still get away with abusing and brainwashing kids.
My friend had a very serious lung disease from birth, his parents could not afford treatment,he was expected to die before the age of 12.
He was sent to a research center in Denver so the could receive treatment free of charge.
They conducted horrific experiments on those kids, including strapping them down and dropping chemicles in their eyes.
I think the Straightlike programs are conducting "research" and the kids are just a sort of human Guinea Pigs.
Helen Petermann supposedly turned in some kind of research information to the government.

Exhausted posted she feels THE WHO " isn't that bad and I personally think he contributes a lot to this site."
That seems to be her opinion, and guess she can believe what she wants.
THE WHO is entitled to have his adoring fans, right?

Be it The Who or anyone else who makes vulnerable and fragile people feel worse about themselves than they already do (If thats possible) does not endear me to them in any way shape or form

However nor does mob mentality

I apologised to the person concerned over the tornado incident, I cannot make TheWho do the same, I was simply misinformed thinking a tornado was a force so strong that one wouldnt possibly get close enough wihtout being killed, in a way yes, i did question it, on the basis of my understanding of a tornado, I was put straight on that and said I was sorry if I had upset the poster, I also commented about how disgusting the duct tape part of it was.

A couple of things thewho has said has made sense or got me thinking, and I respond accordingly, it does not make me a fan, I am an adult, I really don't need to be a fan of anyone on the internet, if you hate him so much, then ignore him, the same as you would away from the internet, surely if you don't like someone, you just simply don't have anything to do with them?

I have my theories as to why people want to convince the WhO of the abusive reality of programs(psycho babble regarding him being an archetype for a negligent society). But exhausted you have no reason to apologize or defend your position. Why should anyone give a damn about your view on the WhO? I'm asking them, not exhausted. She is not the enemy and the WhO is ignorant, not evil. Don't respond to the WhO let him say his cruel comments to himself. Trust me on this, there will come a time when the Who can't deny, to himself, the truth of what goes on in programs. Don't worry about him...

EDIT: Dear Lord, I've stretched this monstrosity to the 6th page. How many levels of hell can this shrine to the WhO go?

The stats are not BS.  To my knowledge they include all the data that meets the parameters.  I initially was focusing on TBS and wilderness but was asked to expand the matrix to other areas, with the understanding that the data for those added areas would be forwarded to me.  This seems to have stopped.  So the matrices should be trimmed back to TBS and Wilderness as initially planned.  If there are names omitted a simple PM would be all that is needed to add the data.

I use to say it was sick and a little surprised that people would use it, but after awhile you get use to it seeing it and reading about it.  I certainly don’t believe all programs use that stuff as people here do so I may sound a little sarcastic on the subject.  I am sure many here don’t greet parents, after they tell their story,  with “Wow, that is awful, how are you coping?  Are you taking care of yourself as well as your family?  This must be an emotional time for you.”  Most bypass addressing the initial formalities and shock.

It is an unfair and inaccurate statement to say I give little credence to the survivors on fornits.  I have always respected their stories and engaged in fair discussion……. (Well, except for maybe one).

Only it wasn't TheIt who committed suicide.  I wondered why TheIt took it upon himself to defend AARC with no knowledge of the subject whatsoever.  This explains why he was willing to look like such a stupid fucker, lacking even the most basic knowlege of geography related to AARC, or it's structure, or the justice and healthcare system to which it is related.  I had completely forgotten about that post!  Hit way too close to home for you Kiddie-fucker, and rage got the best of you.  Tell us again about the two AARC centres, the one in Alberta and the one in Calgary, Johnnie!
