Sounds like the typical TAKE CONTROL/DO NOT PANIC M.O. to dealing with hysterics.

FWIW, it would be a fucking nightmare to let the kids be taken by parents because of the chaos that would most likely result (Hell, a carpool line during a normal day is ridiculous...) but I do wonder how they would actually enforce not letting someone leave.

Especially if they're over 18 and it's a high school. But, eh, I'm just glad I'm not forced to deal with that bullshit anymore...   I really don't know how teenagers deal with it, considering they don't have an adults coping skills, but then I remember... I didn't know what I was putting up with was bullshit! I didn't know better!

I would just want to point out having everyone fucking herded into a fish barrel would be great for an armed group or individual to take advantage of.... call in a bomb threat then fucking pull up and have everyone already in rank and file to get turned into hamburger by a pipe bomb or some guns.

*sigh* Oh, wait, that's just my video-game induced sociopathy speaking, don't listen to me!

P.S. they could put the real bomb into the evacuation area

While you're at it, remember exterior walls often have glass windows, free shrapnel with your placement of a bomb in exterior rooms!

Jack Thompson aside, I'd probably be a good security consultant from enough combat sims/games... haha. Then again I wonder why they don't just get retired spec ops guys to go through their shit and try to make their plans suck a little less hard.  :)

Shit, your average CS playing nerd could probably poke holes in most disaster plans... why aren't the experts and retired professionals holding them accountable?!?!?!

Dear Superintendent of schools,

Thanks so much for your thoughtful and informative note. These are all great ideas and most helpful to me. Don't let any of my captives escape till you're done doing your bureaucratic paper chase. That will give me plenty of time to toy with my victims. Keep the parents at a distance and in the dark. That will probably scare the shit out of them, which makes it so much more fun for me. And those follow up letters? Please print them with good ink on archival paper.

Thanks!
The Sniper

They say safety is an illusion..but I am sure that the attendance sheets will make a fine deterrent to the flying bullets and/or shrapnel in the event of such a situation.

And I trust that all teachers and staff will instictively know where the "safe areas" are located....instinctively I say, because no one is going to send out a memo during the hail of bullets.

I would like to point out, however that the administrators should be certain not to send out follow up letters to the parents of the children who were killed or maimed in the incident...this might cause confusion.

Love ya, Jackass.

Yeah, I do. And kids should be taught and expected to THINK in an emergency, not follow stupid instructions. This is not an evacuation plan! This is a prolonged confinement plan! What are the odds that not one kid in the entire k-12 campus will be unaccounted for? For how long? How many kids can a sniper take out if they're all confined to the gym or the lower field or whatever, prevented from escaping?

I think the people who write these policies and then enforce them are seriously mentally unstable. I'm not kidding. They never really graduate. They're like Program staffers--former clients who couldn't cut it on the outside and were afraid to leave the comfy familiarity of their childhood prison. They're virtually cloistered from the real world. How else do you explain this madness?

And I've seen it in action. They actually did lock down my older daughter's campus after a sniper incident in some other state. It was fucking insane! They lined these kids up outside the building in response to a sniper prank call. They locked the gates and stood guard to prevent escape. Kids were crying, running for the barb wire topped fences, climbing over or getting detained by the fucking idiot "school resource"  officers.

The whole intent of publicly licensed education seems to be to prevent critical thought, creativity or anything close to normal, healthy growth. For us  who resist, well we got special places for us! And when you get out, you find that woosy snitch crossing guard staffing the employment office.

I don't know but it's always made me wonder!!
I used to think, shit, nobody that wasn't brainwashed for the past two years is going to stay here willingly. But remember that 95% of the employees and staff were not program graduates, they were just ordinary people from the outside who had no problem doing what they did in exchange for a paycheck.
You think someone like that can change? You make a choice to willingly work and abuse kids in excahnge for money for a long period of time and then expect others to think that you are worth giving the time of day? This is evidence that something is DEEPLY wrong with that person and they might figure out later on that society thinks they are child abusers and they might recant. But it doesn't mean shit. They made their choice to abuse kids and coerce kids for their pleasure and for money, and deserve absolutely no sympathy whatsoever. What's that? You want to defend child molesters and mind rapists? Take it somewhere else buddy, I don't want to hear it.

A bunch of JudgeRoyBeans walking around. Ex staff popping out of bushes everywhere to scare kids from telling their story. They pretend to be against programs, but are in fact just bullying personalities and use technology to continue to abuse their victims. I've seen it so much it is sickening and absolutely disgusting.

The internet has its bad sides which is the programs are much closer together because the people congregate online now and it's much harder to escape. The net has made the world smaller. A program that was across the country, not infiltrates our living rooms with former staff and program graduates sending letters to our boxes asking why we didn't like the program, what was wrong with us? Telling us to shut up or else. Who are they to say these things?

Studying JudgeRoyBean should be required homework for everyone on this forum, his tactics have been absorbed by several ex staff who use their skills at manipulation for  obtaining unsavory goals which are mostly personal, trying to offset the natural karma due to them by their disgusting behavior. It won't work, it never does.

Wait, so the department of homeland security is now in charge of schools? Cause it sure seems like you guys are at level orange now.

And I used to think the way they did fire drills at my age was stupid...

Wow, does that happen on these fora? Could you perhaps cite some specific instances of this using links?
