Would someone from pfc be so kind as to explain what "client housing" is and why within ONE year, that expense went from $7,752 to just over $105,000?  :-?

Someone's doing their homework, I see.

Yes, GuideStar has Pathway's 2006 990 tax filing on record now.  That's interesting.  2003 and 2004 doesn't have any reference to client housing costs.  Then it appears in 2005 at $7,752, and jumps to $105,006 in 2006.  It can't be the $15 per day paid to host parents, the number would be much higher.  Wonder if Pathway was picking up the cost of host home fees for certain clients.

Dear "PFCGuest", yes, homework is a proper description. It's something more folks should be doing before sending their kid to programs, especially ones like this. I don't consider PFC/STRAIGHT, Inc. as a dead horse. I'm considering PFC/STRAIGHT, Inc. as one long running program, tied together by government officials, family friends, special exceptions and LOTS of profits for the executives. Sure, to the untrained eye, PFC is not related in any way to STRAIGHT, Inc. However, if you look through ALL of the corporate documents, and rosters, you will see direct relationships. Even these newfangled CADC's they have these days, at least the one in Cincinnati has former STRAIGHT, Inc. execs on it. The one in Porter County has 3 or more PFC former parents on it, the whole thing is an "inside job" of sorts from what I can tell. The taxpayers have no idea, or if they do, maybe they just chalk it up to more corruption that seems to be the norm.

PFC Picking up the host home fee? could be, here's my calculations, but keep in mind that I took algebra 5 years in a row before I eventually failed it as a senior in HS, so you may want to double check these figures... $105,006 divided by $15/day= 7000.4 days. That would translate into 19 years worth of host home fees. Why would they claim such large amounts of money from one year to the next if a. they are OUTPATIENT, b. the parents pay the fee c.if no fee is paid, it is certainly donated by scared first phase parents hosting oldcomer kids during the training period before THEIR kid comes home. I mean, any way you slice it, this is very suspicious. If the program had a HVAC system donated, would that qualify as a donation?   Seems to me that it would.

I've heard that the DFAF uses PNC Bank, and PFC uses PNC Bank, and TSDRCP before it dissolved last year, used PNC Bank... Do you know a way to aquire a verification?
