Is anybody here a former prisoner of Straight Orlando? A good friend of mine was there from 1989-1992 and she was murdered shortly after it closed down. I'm trying to write her tragic story... but I myself have never seen the inside of this facility. I actually helped her escape once when she had home priveleges. But I'm looking for someone who could help piece together what her life might have been like inside. If not Orlando, then a similar facility in Florida? Thanks

Look into SAFE thats the name Straight orlando goes by these days. Here's an excerpt from the ISAC page:
