Montel Williams promoting wwasps?

Who's to say she actually wrote what she was reported as having written at all?

Anyone ever hear of ghostwriters? Maybe they took what she said, made a narrative out of it, and got her to sign off on it, and then edited it at their leisure. Or maybe they just had her sign off on it in advance and wrote what they felt like. This happens all the time in this business- you don't think WWASPS would do something like that? Who really had final editorial control here?

I think Mia did write it just because her language and use of certain words in interviews is very similar to the voice in the book. She seems pretty bright in some ways. Also Mumsy is a screen writer so knows how to spin a pretty good yarn.

I can't shake this, Montel Williams  re-ran the show and it pissed me off all over again. Can any ex wwasps kids educate this guy, again? I found contact information for the Montel Williams show and two of the shows producers. I'm sorry but to see wwasps promoted on a show that condemned Tranquility Bay and Straight is unacceptable. Exitplan, you have good writings and a personal experience with wwasps, and if you have the time I would appreciate it if you could inform these people on what you know about wwasps and what they(Montel Williams Show) are promoting.

Cliff Notes  

• Montel Williams had a show detailing inspirational stories where Mia and Claire appeared to discuss their book Comeback: A Mother and Daughter’s Journey Through Hell and Back
• Montel praised the book and the mothers choice to kidnap her daughter and send her to the Czech Republic wwasps school Morava. He also said that he would(or did) do the same with his daugter.
• In 2005 Montel Williams did a show which detailed the abuse of teens in Tranquility bay(wwasps facility) and Straight inc. This makes his promotion of wwasps through the Mia and Claire book all the more puzzling.
• Morava was a wwasps facility in the Czech Republic that was raided and shut down for abuse. The owners Glenda and Steve Roach were charged with torturing and illegally imprisoning the 57 children in their care. Ironically Glenda and Steven Roach operated another wwasps school( Sunrise Beach) in mexico which was also closed down in 1996 due to abuse allegations.
