Save me Feebus! I'm drunk!
« on: March 18, 2007, 01:22:28 AM »
i'm here because i'm drunk.  for the first time in several years i'm drunk.  And i'm afraid i'm going to end up dead, insane, in jail, or a combination of the above.  Before program I got drunk once...  During program...  I swore i was an alcoholic...  Now I'm out...  and after several years.  It's saint paddy's day, and i've had a few.  Oh god i'm going to die.  Tell me how I can save myself.  please oh fornits gods.  Save me Feebus!

I accept I my life has become unmanageable...  Oh higher power of Fornits.  Save me from myself!

Psy, you have to work your program, that's all...
   1. We admitted we were powerless over bullshit dogma?that our lives had become unmanageable.
   2. Came to believe that there is no power greater than ourselves, at least when it comes to our own volition.
   3. Made a decision never to turn our will and our lives over to the care of an invisible friend.
   4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves in case we ever run out of toilet paper.
   5. Admitted to ourselves and our invisible friend the exactly how ridiculous the whole thing had been and had a good laugh.
   6. Hit the bar and turned in our one month chips for free beers
7-12. Hit another half dozen AA meetings and bars in succession.

the somewhat ironic thing about these programs is they work, but only on the kids who never needed to go in the furst place. the young ones, the ones who never did any drugs, smoke pot or a ciggarette. i think the kids who end up in those places that steal cars and do drugs have a better chance of coming out unscathed mentally than the 13 year old kid who listens to marilyn manson and plays too much videogames.
