Yes indeed folks, today is the day!
The pinnacle of competition between top US advertisers!
More money is spent on television advertising today than any other day of the year including the foolish holiday we all know as thanksgiving.

Also of note: Today, superbowl sunday marks the day that more domestic violence calls are made in the US than any other day of the year.

I cant wait!

Actually, turns out that bit about domestic calls is an urban legend. No basis in reality at all. In fact, a nurse I know says the ers slow down during big games then pick up again afterward; people will actually wait to take an injured kid to the hospital till after the game.

Can't wait to see some of the best commercials on youtube, though.
