No, YOU are talking about Elan staff...namely Marty.

The thread asked about signs and costumes, not how some fucking retard like Agressive alpha faggot and The hiya queen feels about Marty and his methods of mayhem.

Im so fucking sick of reading all the boohoo fucking posts about Marty this and Marty that. So Marty fucked you in the shitter...Get over it. Theres nothing you can say about Marty that will change how Marty is or was. Nothing will ever change the fact that your ass had Martys dick in it so cry somewhere else about it, or shut the fuck up all together.

I was in Elan when Marty was in treatment. And I still wore fucked up signs and costumes. Marty has nothing to do with this thread and Marty has very little to do with the Elan subject as a whole.

Wanna tell the world how you feel about Marty?
Do it somewhere else, cuz the fucking world doesnt care.

I think maybe you are Marty. You sure stood up for him.
If that be the case then I have this to say to you Marty.

How!

If I could just steer this back toward the topic, does anyone know when contracts were phased out and maybe why? When did Marty supposedly start his reign of terror in the teepee?

Yup. you quoted another one of my posts.

So I take it I irritate you and you want me to come to your house so you could kick me ass? Sounds like someone had one too many bottles today.
I don't think it works that way fagman, I think it goes something like you need to track me down and come to my house and attempt to kick the shit out of me. You dont irritate me, I irritate you remember?
So whats stopping you alcohol muscles? Come track me down and get you some. If you think you have a 100% idea of where I live and come and confront me, I wont back down. You just better keep in mind, that the bars you frequent everyday better have handicap access for wheel chaired bound individuals, because when I get down with you alcohol muscles, that'll be your destiny.
So what do you say? You gonna back yourself and prove how tuff you really are? All you have to do is show up and trespass, it's very simple.

You loser....

fART's costume was to be dressed as himself, that's the worst costume to wear according to Elan's standards.

Signs were phased out sometime after 2000 from what I heard. Not really 100% sure of why they were phased out, but I think it might have had something to do with a safety issue. Or maybe the price for poster board went up and Elan didn't want to shell out the extra $$ for them.
When I was there, there was no costumes, yet Marc used to talk about them along with other Directors when abusing a teen at a GM.
At times, Marc brought back the dunce cap for people who got bad grades, and made people carry around certain objects from their prospective department if it was not cleaned right, or the department was a mess.
I would describe that era as to being on a roller coaster of rules, sometimes they went balastic with L.E.'s and other times they didn't. I do remember clearly about the Directors talking about the "Old school days" whereas they issued out customes on a regular basis to those that did not follow the rules and slacked off.

Thanks for answering my question. Not even signs, wow. That's cool for you guys. When I was there I'd say 20% of the house was on some type of LE. What did the Comm. Dept do all day? I wish I had a little video of that shit, I'd put it on you tube.

I thought it would be nice to have a real topic to possibly discuss. To those of you who never had the pleasure, this was a humiliation few will forget.   I'll never forget being driven into Poland and seeing the insanity for the first time. I just looked at my parents with a "what the fuck have you done" look on my face.

The question is why they dressed people up in stupid costumes? I know for a fact that they (Staff) got a great laugh out of it. Especially people like Marc, who was so strung out on dope, made his high that much more entertaining to see people looking their worst in some stupid costume. Someone please tell me the therapy in that?

This sounds like those shame punishments parents have been inflicting on their kids(stand on a street corner with a sign), they've been showing up in the news a lot lately. Is the world sick or stupid?
