GMs and the general philosophy of Elan

I'm curious about all the similarities between these mindrape mills.  Can someone please explain to me in detail what went on in a GM?  Can anyone explain the therapeutic value of the signs and name calling?

its all about accountability. a gm was a meeting with the entire hose called when you did wrong or broke a rule.the value of signs is easy.suppose you have an issue that you dont wanna talk about but its important and your issues affect the way you function in the house ,they make you wear a sign so like that your issue is there for all to see, its basically a way of forcing you to talk about yourself and have people confront you.when you talk about whats bothering you it helps alot..you know what happens to people who dont confront their issues they spend 2-3 years posting over 1000 posts on a website .andy puleo-elan reporter..the yelling i didnt understand at first but as time went on i saw that yelling was a way to seperate the anger from the issue because right after the yelling came the confrontation..elanalum.com rules.this website is truly shot.if you have more questions feel free to find me at elanalum.com
