my roomate cut himself one night at hla and wasnt taken to the hospital... he was just calmed down.

Please have your roomate and/or his parents contact:

Ms. Kit Wallace
State of Georgia - Child Protective Services
706.864.1839
email: kwwallace@dhr.state.ga.us

Your roomate should have received medical treatment from a real doctor.

I only saw someone taken to the hospital ONCE in my entire stay there for cutting themselves. And I assure you it happened with a certain regularity. And that person was only taken because he took his blood and smeared it all over the walls writing "I love God" and "Take Me Home" and upsidown crosses and shit. Anyone who was there in 2002 knows who I'm talking about.

I certainly hope someone will come forward and give this information to the appropriate agencies.

yeah that incident was a bit disturbing, that kid was bleeding pretty bad, and the night staff where really freaked out by it.  Then mike witherspoon held a meeting and blatantly lied about how bad it was.  yeah i think this has been posted about before.

Mike Witherspoon lie about something?

Never.

My only regret in all this is that he was fired such a long time ago he's been able to avoid the consequences the rest of them are facing now.

When did he get fired? He was there when I attended, which, given, was like 2 years ago... What was he fired over?

I dont know the circumstances, I tried to find out but apparently it was very hush hush at the time. However I do believe he was fired and it was not a voluntary resignation.
