We're listening.  Do tell, Mr. Who.  Why would a guy whose kid killed himself over 'the program' spend years of his life posing as students, parents, staff, uninterested outsiders, lawyers, shrinks, etc., etc., etc.?  I mean, you've posed as every type of poster 9and got pinched doing it every time0 in pursuit of your crooked agenda, so why do you spend several hours a day just typing in confirmation codes??

Call me nieve but I have a hard time believing this... is there ANY chance you guys may be a little over-paranoid?

I mean consider this, EVERY program cult member, be it parents, alumni or staff all use VERY similar program jargon. They all have this narrow-minded view that the program somehow saves lives and regardless of the harsh conditions the ends always justifies the means. Furthermore, in the face of our evidence all they have ever done is beat around the bush arguing points that seem either completely illogical or at least significantly irrelevant.

Example:
ME: "So you think that its okay for kids to be abused in residential treatment programs"
Cultie: "There is abuse everywhere, in public schools and day-care centers too so what's the difference?"

and this excuse I got straight from the mouth of a family friend who was considering a program for her 8 year old son. The tactics are all too similar, the mindset is almost identical and the motivation is the same as well... they don't want to have to accept that they made a mistake getting "help" for their child, and were dumb enough to be conned by a cult. I know people who would engage in all out warfare for less.

You see what I'm saying? I don't deny that we have trolls, we obviously do, but I don't think they are ALL TheWho.

Well how about someone answer  why a kid would bitch about the programs library not having a copy of a Mark twain book or why a teacher isn’t certified by the state?  How many of these kids brought up this same subject with their parents about their local school when they were home?  How many actually went to the library and checked out a book? Or knew their teachers credentials? HaHaHa, kind of funny when you think of it that way.  If 95% of the kids are getting accepted to their first choice of college who cares if the place is licensed, certified or has any oversight from the state at all?

Most parents see right thru this crap, it is comical to read sometimes.  None of this stuff is torture or abusive… ropes courses, building a wall, shoveling snow, taking out the trash, doing calisthenics, skipping a meal or two, reflection time, etc. etc… it just seems abusive because you never had to do anything tough before so of course it seems like torture.  To top it all off one of the biggest bitches is that the kids cant communicate enough with their parents while there!!!  Most of these kids never talked to their parents for months prior to being placed.  WTF is up with that?

If a kid or my kid did commit suicide how would any of us know if it was due to depression, a girlfriend who broke it off, an accident?  How do you attribute it to a specific cause?  The lists that I see being posted have little or no bearing because no note was left so no one knows what the cause was.  How do we know the program didn’t extend their lives an extra few years before they finally took their life?  Without the program they might have died years earlier.

I personally dont believe every pro kiddie gulag poster on here is Cindy, but that being said he has posted under different usernames or claimed to be seperate individuals all with different connections to the industry. Run a search for Littlecats and see what you come up with. Early on in his postings he played this game of posting under multiple names and was stupid enough to give Deborah permission to link all his posts. Once done he was shocked to discover that he had been exposed. He tried to claim he'd been set up, but his prose and lack of thought shines through in whatever guise he uses. Whatsmore, this is the same guy who when I stopped posting for several months began accusing every poster who shot down his arguments (it isnt hard, he's a moron) of being me. When that got old he began posting under a new name pretending to be me, and having arguments with himself, and still somehow losing. This guy is a mess. I stand by my comments from last night, he's an idiot who couldnt reason his way out of a cardboard box. Keep giving him enough rope, he'll do the damage to himself and tuck his tail and run like he always does.

Just because I know it helps.....

A kid might bitch about programs not having a Mark Twain book because he wants to read a Mark Twain book. Seems fairly logical to me. A teacher needs to be certified by the state for the same reason that any position of trust or major respondsibility requires some sort of licensure or certification. You want to make sure the person actually knows what the hell they are doing.

A little over 20 million apparently.

Public schools require certified teachers. Often when there is a shortage of teachers a school will hire someone who has their degree but not their license, however the person has a very limited time in which to recieve their license. Tax payers and PTA's dont allow unlicensed teachers. See how good regulation and oversight is? The programs you cling to so desperatly don't seem to mind at all.

Big if. Can you cite an independent souce to verify your 95% claim? I'd be interested in seeing that. As to what oversight and licensure bring, that horse has been beated to death. Both bring safety, accountablity, and higher standards. To answer your other question, people who care about these kids (not you) or the parents who are shelling out close to six figures care about these places being licensed.

You believe denying food to a child is acceptable? Do state agencies feel that way? What kind of rope course are you refering to and who claimed it was torture? Please cite the comment in question. What kind of wall is being built? How big is it? Are the proper tools provided? Why is a student being made to shovel snow? Do you believe students should be used as slave labor in leiu of paying a maintaince staff? What if the child in question hasn't been given the proper clothing to work in the snow? Would it be considered torture then? Whose trash is the child being made to take out? Where to? How long do the calisthenics last? What happens to the child who can't keep up? What's involved with "reflection time"? Is confrontational therapy ever effective? Should it be conducted by licensed therapist? Also, if parents are seeing through this "crap" then why is the industry dying? Why are they having regulation forced upon them, and why are their numbers so low?

What if a child feels they are being abused yet they are denied the ability to tell their parents.

What is the theraputic value of denying contact?

Better yet, they should give you your own forum and ban you from all others. You could c/p posts and respond to them there. Anyone interested in your bs tripe could visit your forum/blog to read it.

So Who, did Bain or CRC fund the SC test case?

No, RB is not The Who.  I know that for certain.  This above post, however, is The Who.

Despite what Psy says, The Who is really easy to spot once you know what to look for.  He has idiosyncracies that are easy identifiers and also has an extremely limited vocabulary, spells the same words wrong over and again, makes the same grammar errors over and again, etc.  He sticks out like a sore thumb to the attentive reader.

What I really want to know is why he spends years trolling survivor boards when his own son committed suicide over the program.  You gotta be one deeply disturbed individual to make up a happy story about the program and a ficticious daugter when, in reality, he never had a daughter or a happy experience, only a dead son who killed himself after The Who had him locked up in a program.  One sick fuck here, folks.

I have to go alone with the other guest.  As soon as thewho started posting again this RobertBruce person comes along.  they are definitely the same person.  This sick fuck will do anything for attention even sinking low enough to troll himself.  I heard he had his kid killed after he returned from a program and wasnt helped at all.  In fact the only thing the program did was make his son hate him more, so he offed him because he couldnt stand it.
