Its really sad and pathetic that its come to this. Deb can you delete all these multiple postings? They do nothing but waste Ginger's bandwith. Cindy just does in the hopes he can avoid all the hard questions and distract people from his own incompentence and total lack of credibility. We established yesterday that keeping you on the defensive is helping kids but if that wasnt enough I spend a great deal of time each day talking with fornits posters and working on different issues. Now you may not be aware of this fact but you can actually speak to people on fornits, off of fornits. I'm not sure if you're aware of that, but I promise you it can be done, and not just at places like your imaginary meetings that never occured. You see Cindy, when I use the term "we" it's because more then one person was involved in my end of the discussion, and again unlike you the people I talk to aren't in my head.

How many homicides in public schools involved the teachers tackling and sitting on top of a child until they suffocated to death?

Private programs are expensive. I think it's safe to assume many kids who go to programs are also enrolled in private school while at home. Do these statistics meld together the violence rates of urban poor schools as well as the well funded upper class neighborhood private schools? One could assume you are trying to use the numbers to manipulate the data to show public schools as more dangerous than the average school a prospective program kid is attending.

We all know kids get in fights, hurt each other and gang members sometimes shoot each other. Parents even accept that there might be a Columbine situation at the school, and their kid might be hurt. What parents are not ready to accept, is teachers and school administration staffers who murder students.

If five teachers a year were executing students for gargling milk in their grammar school classrooms in front of the other kids, or shoving chemicals down a young boys throat and restraining him until he dies, or a teacher sitting on top of a kid for an hour until they die. These are different than your average kid vs. kid violence that we all know exists and expect.

Is there a difference between a kid being marched to death in a wilderness camp against their will and a kid who is pushed hard on the soccer field, both of whom die of heat exhaustion? Well, one might argue that one kid was doing it willingly, and one was not. If that makes a difference. I assume, to the parent, as far as guilt is concerned, this seemingly small distance between these two situations is greatly magnified.

Just some thoughts.
