Because I don?t remember.  I talked to my daughter and she remembers her as "Dr. Anna"... I am not going to call the school and ask people, what?s the point?  We all know ASR has licensed therapists and if parents want further proof they can do what I did and ask to meet with them and satisfy themselves to their own level.  I think that is the point here at fornits is to get the parents to look closer at what they are doing, make sure the kids have the proper care?..

This statement is misleading, or better put an example of you lying.

ASR does not have licensed therapists. They have A licensed therapist, that is somehow supposed to provide 200 kids with one hour each of therapy per week. Something youve still yet to explain.

Let me cite your source for you so nobody is confused where you get your "facts" from.  TheWho, now repeating this information as verified fact, got this blurb from an anonymous guest poster - no second source or any attempt to verify it.

So, let's be clear, TheWho believes any positive statement about the program that butters his bread is a fact, regardless of the source, but when real facts with documentation are offered, he dismisses them out of hand because the person who posted the verifiable facts "has an agenda."

Ha,Ha,  Okay DJ, you can still stand by your position that they have no licensed counselors, it?s a free country ?..the rest of us will go with the facts or the parents will simply ask the school when they talk to them.

So they have3 or 4 additional staff who seem qualified and are waiting for the next available test period.   It is good to see ASR continues to train and push for their staff to further their education and get licensed.  It shows they are responsible and dedicated to the kids and a continuous positive growth process.

So, Scootie, let me get this straight; I don't want to mischaracterize what you're saying here...

Your daughter saw a licensed therapist every week at ASR for two years, right?  

Now, you want people to believe that you don't know who that therapist was even though you "saw diplomas on the wall" and "researched her on the internet," right?

Furthermore, you are also now stating that you "asked (your) daughter" the name of this therapist that she had intimate personal dialogue with for two years and she can't remember the therapist's name either, right?

Now, since I have characterized your statements as you made them, can you please explain how both you and your daighter have the same memory lapse about the same person with whom you both worked extensively for two years?

I don't think anybody believes this.  Just another shot in the foot for you, Scooter.  

BTW, how many years in prison do you think the real Scooter is  going to get today when a jury of 12 sane men and women convict him for lying just like like you do while claiming memory loss just like you do?

My daughter does remember her, very well, in fact.  She told me it was Doctor Anna.  I said do you remember her last name?  She said she never knew it, just knew her by Doctor Anna.  This common with kids, I believe.  As far as my memory ?..argh, it is frustrating, I have always been awful with peoples names?we had conference calls and she would call me at specified times or we would communicate by mail sometimes, her last name has just escaped me.

If I was considering having my son or daughter attend ASR I would simply ask to speak with the Therapists, get their names and give them a call and get comfortable with them as I did.  I wouldn?t rely solely on what some person named ?thewho?, ?Dysfunction Junction? or ?Milk gargling death penalty? told me from the internet.

Hmmmmm....  Worked with her for two years and set up aftercare, sat in front of her desk with her name placard on it, read her diplomas off the wall, had sessions in her office 104 times, yet can't remember her name....?

(between the kids and sometimes in class) because he had this long last name, I think it was Greek.  Well anyway I introduced him to my girlfriend as Mr. K but felt a little embarrassed as he corrected me and pronounced his full last name to her.  I knew this guy very well, too, because he also was an assistant track coach when I ran track, but the name escaped me at the time.  Some people can meet someone and remember their name forever, I am just not one of them, I really struggle in that area.

Actually, I thought he was finally being honest with that response. He knows the therapist's name and finally just said "No", I'm not providing it.

Sorry for the confusion, Deb.  I should have said "nearly every single person reading this" believes you are a liar.

I, for one, don't even share your optimism about his being truthful on this item.  I think he just lies about everything.

That advice is not adequate. According to HLA, they had 42 Masters Level Counselors, Certified teachers, and an MD, among other things.....

Turns out they had one licensed professional, teachers weren't certified and some were crossed utilized (violation of SACS accreditation), some (even management) had degress from diploma mills, and get this, the MDs license had been revoked because he stold drugs for his own use.

One has to do their own research IF it's important to them.

Believe me, that's not the only area in which you're struggling.

You can say you "forgot," but I think most people reading understand that you're just not honest (your weakest suit is honesty).  

You know, you've told so many different stories, Scooter, that you just get them mixed up.  This isn't a memory problem per se because if any fully functioning person had spun as many yarns as you have, they'd have a hard time keeping it straight, too.  

So, your problem isn't your memory, it's your habit of constantly lying that's caught up to you.
