The Who
« on: June 21, 2006, 02:50:00 PM »
The Who has been posting here for a while. S/he claims to be a parent who had a daughter in ASR and SUWS.
I have scoured other program forums and can't find his/her story anywhere. Anyone seen it posted elsewhere?
I believe The Who is an Ed Con or a PR person for AEG.
S/he is on here all day long defending the industry, particularly ASR/SUWS. If you read his/her posts carefully you'll notice they aren't the typical PP style.

You could be right, who knows.  I've thought that from time to time.  I don't think it really matters though other than it would go a long way to explaining his staunch defense of even the most indefensible of programs.

So, what is the typical PP   ...   ...   style.

oddly tho ive not seen so much a defense of suwa-asr as a position with considerable support, tho not among most here

Here is another option for those who dont like to squat

The only problem is you really need to throw them away afterwards and it can get expensive.  Some people buy them and then copy the design and make their own.

I dont mind taking a hit, but the programs I back are the ones I know, ASR and SUWS.  The only 2.  I may converse and comment on facets of other programs as they come up in discussion and give my opinion but I have never given my blessing to send their kids to any others.

I am an employee at ASR and will answer questions honestly if you like.  There is a good and bad side to our program, like all things human.

We're just trying to making sure that you're working your program and being honest...now, let's have it...

It's not.  We're just curious because your devotion is so absolute that we figure you've got to work for the industry in some capacity.  We could be wrong.  You could just be a blind fool.

***Why is it so important what I do?"

You were asked:
Without some kind of clinical, unbiased and long term study how could you possibly know? [That "graduates" do better]

And while still posting anonymously in the HLA thread you responded:
WE dont. The survey gives US a general idea on "how WE are doing". Are WE doing better than last year? What do WE need to focus on going forward? Are WE focusing on the wrong type of kids? etc.

Who's WE?
