Yup! Took way too long to find out, but it really is true; no desire for heaven after a Florida winter and damned sure no fear of hell after 38 summers + Seed/Straight.

This year will go down in history! For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration! Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!

I hate em' too,but I live in my family house, rent free ,in an expensive West coastal city,so I like it in Florida.
Cook out every day and listen to my CDs.
If you would just learn to leave your weed at home and stop driving around with it in your car,and dont drink and drive, you should have a great time in Florida.

I mean I lived in venice, englefuckingwood, sarasota, daytona, ormond,St. augustine, miami, dania, and the whole straight thing and it just sucked, shit jobs,a whole series of shit girlfriends, hassled by cops left and right, well  except miami as i was a paramedic there.I live an hour north of chicago now, have a 2nd home in Mn. And am sooooo much happier I dogsled in the winter, hunt in the fall/spring and mountain bike in the summer.Im just so much better off.I got arrested like 10 or12 times in florida always bullshit non-stick charges, here not once, not even a ticket, nothing in 15 years.
My wife is so great I dont even have the words. The only person in my life who has really ever loved me.sometimes Im amazed that I have this life, almost to the point of feeling that I either dont deserve it or that I have "gotten over" somehow.I cant say how fucking glad I am to be THE FUCK OUT OF FLORIDA.

........does any body remember Dave Crock going on and on about " no such thing as a geographical cure"? Yep Davey boy,I got your cure RIGHT HERE !!!!!!!!!!!![ This Message was edited by: seamus on 2006-05-31 09:45 ]

I just left Engleweird... guess things had to get worse before they got better.  But I still don't have to shovel anything!

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success.
--Ralph Waldo Emerson

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

SHIT!
Has Florida changed that much! I remember having to wreck my car going down a one way street in order to get a DUI! I remember when Florida had drive thru's where you could order a mixed drink on the go. By the way Dave Crock has probably made up for lost time by now. "Rather die on my feet than live on my knees as a slave!"

You know I've been in Florida about 8 years and well I agree with people here to a certain extent, however I travel a few times a year down to the keys and the people are friendly and laid back....Even if you are mellow when you get there you are still going too fast...It always takes me a few days there to "Get my mind right", however I consider it to be "Civilization" there and not here. So it's all in a person's perception....A glass half full or half empy???
