Wasn't this guy at Atlanta Straight in the early 80s before Cincinnatti started???????? With Buttimer and Tilley?  Seems like I remember this name.  I was in Atlanta from 1982-1984...like 2 1/2 years.  I know this guy must have been there.  His name is so familiar!

Is this the guy whose wife stole or embezzled some money?  Didn;t she work at a bank or something?  Or was that one of the other executive staff wives?

I was there in Atlanta, I remember all those staffers.

Betty Rushing. Jerry Rushing directed Straight-Cincinnati. Ultimately state authorities closed that camp for criminal child abuse. Jerry Rushing's wife is named Betty. In 1987-1988 when Angela Lee was pushing cocaine in Florida and Ohio, Betty Rushing was VP of a commercial bank and a cocaine addict. She made a loan of $100,000 to someone who did not quality and did not pay it back on schedule. She says she did not know at the time that the mob in Florida was involved. She fled and was sought by the FBI. She was captured in Miami six months later and charged charged with 13 felony counts, each carrying up to 10 years in prison. She got a Presidential pardon and her record has been wiped clean. [Source: Business Men's Fellowship USA, Cincinnati-East Chapter, 2002 Meetings]
