If anyone knows that these three letters are the name of a very famous, instrumental RUSH song, then you may be interested to know:

YYZ is also the call letters of the Toronto airport

The intro of the song with the tapping sounds is morse code for the letters "Y..Y..Z.." and the basis of the song follows that mellodic structure.

Useless RUSH facts....

Not useless information at all.  I think we should have a RUSH bbs.  I may create one on for kix.  I know you, I, Sam, Trish, even Kim could post daily on the lyrical genius of Peart and the musical genius of the band in general.  Interesting idea though I am certain hundreds exist....but no 'synop survivor' RUSH bbs's !!! Sounds like another first!

I cannot even count how many times I was suspended in junior high for banging out that rhythm on my text books in class.  I also did so just for grins in class when I was in grad school  to see if anyone recognized the beat--no one did.  Ignorant scholar bastards!::drummer::

Trivia: What are the only few lyrics to LaVilla Strangiato??

Also have you seen these RUSH-head cartoons?

I am all for the RUSH BBS!  Happy to hear that its not useless...

I am guilty of tapping out that beat; except it was during raps next to rebellious people who also loved RUSH!

What does Red Barchetta have so much to do with our KIDS experience?

ANSWER in next post...
