She signed a contract, agreed to pay, and sent her child. Her child was fed, housed, supervised, and had therapy sessions. WWASP didn't ask her to pull her kid early and will contend that they will still agree to provide the stated services through the duration of the contract. Too bad mom didn't see the light sooner. I agree it was all a huge waste of money, but any court will require the mom to pay up. If I sign up for a vacation and can't make it, get sick, or decide to leave early, I still have to pay. It's the same with car loans, home loans, unreturnable purchases, etc. At least she can rest assured that she is one of the very few parents who saved her kids from continued WWASP abuse, and that is priceless.
