Ive seen and read Everything on Titanic. Ijust saw the the show. What did you think? Did she go down as fast as shedid because the bottom was damaged by the iceburg?  :???:

Possibly.
It seems to make some sense. Looking at the illustration they did to suggest how it might have happened - I thought that it might explain the differing eye witness accounts - as at different points, it either appeared to sink straight down in one price - or  it seemed to have broken apart.
Maybe depending on were the witness was on the ocean beside her - or maybe depending on when and if they turned their face away - they might have perceived it either way.
The most fasinating thing to me with the Titanic saga are all the many "If Onlys" - so many things would have made all the difference and saved the ship - If ONly. . .

A big factor is that Capt. Smith should have changed corse, slow her down. Your right there are so many What ifs.Pepole herd big bangs as well, I think the boilers blew up as well, makeing the rip on the bottom.Its hard to say what really happend that night.So many pepole thought they were on a UNSINKABL ship, most stayed on till the last second, because they thought she would stay aflowed.Life boats were being filled with 30 or less pepole in them when they were able to hold 60 pepole.So so sad.
