I take it this is Ken he wrote the above? No actually I have what is caled (reaction). I am reacting to Elan and its staff. I have seen them mistreat everyone when I was there, and if those mistreated talked back or even expressed at the time how they felt, they would have been slammed for it on the spot. This is now our time, it is time we tell the truth about how we were treated.
Yes I admit I go nuts with my dark humor, but I an some others happen to like what I do. Hey, Elan also bashed us when I was there. Like Rosenberg, what a fuckin double standard moron he was. He would be all over someones case in a HM or GM, bring up thier areas, like drug abuse and slam them for it.
He would say shit, like, " if you dont let us help you, then you will wind up on the streets doing dope for the rest of your life". But just take a close look at the person who is lecturing us, he is a walking dope machine, more like a professional dope addict machine.
I have a very big problem with hypocrites telling me what to do, and no respect for them either.
And furthur more, I dont believe anyone has the right to guide or attempt to alter ones outlook on life, if they want to change, they will change. I didn't need Elan to change me, I changed myself. The "so called" tools they say they offer one to change is bullshit!
I'll admit when I came into Elan I was a renegade, bad ass teen who did what he wanted, but I was just being a teen. Elan manipulates parents into thinking, if they dont send their kids to elan there is no hope for their kids.
Teens are teens, they want to experince good times and some times the wild side of life. When I was 17 and going out to parties ect ect, it was the cool thing to do, I had no real responsibilites in life, and could care less about what the adults responsibilities in life were.
So I am labled now as a sign out, I guess in elan's eyes I am a failure because I did not allow elan to change me, therefore my future will amount to nothing.
Well as far as the game of life for one, I am right where I should be according to my age and my peers I went to high school with, actually I am ahead of most. I am married, own 2 homes combine worth over 1.3 million, own my own company, my wife is highly educated and has a great job. I dont use drugs, haven't even touched a beer over the last 2 yrs.

Elans entire dictomomy thing is just plain stupid! They claim it helps one get ready for the real work world. Let me tell you something, elans dictomoy has nothing to do with the work world. No one goes to their boss and says," Yeah I like to bring up for some more stationary papers and pens" LMAO, what a joke! Maybe if one was to go into the army and to prepare them to take orders from a drill sergant, no one out in the real world relates to someone by saying, " yookayyouknow why is it".
And to all the parents, that are thinking about sending their kid away to elan or another program similar. Have you ever even bothered to take a step back and look to see if your teen is just being a teen?
I was sent to elan because I didnt want to stay in high school, I cut out of all my classes and was thrown out of 4 schools. I didnt want to be in high school anymore, I wanted my parents to let me take my GED so I can be done with school, but oh no, you can't sign out of school, you will not be educated enough in life and wont make good money, BULLSHIT!
What I really enjoy in life now is, I proved everything they preached wrong. I found that nice girl in life and married her, and own my own company and make a very decent amount of money.
Another thing, when I went into Elan, I smoked pot 2 times prior before going in. After I was freed from elan, I experimented with acid, did coke for a time and drank like a fish for a long time. Because at elan, I heard too many stories from teens that had taken these drugs in the past and was curious by nature to try them. Now I am not blaming elan for that, but Elan did expose me to it more then I was esposed to it by my friends at the time. I didnt know anybody before going into elan that took acid and did cocaine.
My entire outlook on elan is that it is nothing but a money making scam, I do not take any of that place serious and it had no tools or life skills to offer me.
Elans morals and the way it is run is so stupid, from vr's, gm's, knock on doors, to Martys sweat tent, WHAT A FUCKIN JOKE...
