All right now ,let's not get our bags in a bunch.LOL Art wasn't slammin her,there's reason to speculate she used cocaine,and maybe even with Joe,I'm sure she didn't sell her body for it.Well, maybe she did who knows.Anyway If she was out doin lines at night and messin with teens during the day there is some twisted logic there for sure.

Yes, agreed but Art just seems to flop around when it comes to these discussions.  He's supposedly against Elan etc. but his head is WAY too far up AA's ass for my comfort level.  He talks about Nazi/Reporter (and I agree with a lot of what he and others say in that regard) but Art is just as guilty.

The whole culture of AA bothers me.  The origins of it, the rigidity, the religion, the judgment, our way or no way, you'll DIE without us.....etc. etc.  But then again, the entire "disease concept" of alcoholism bothers me too.

It did,now I don't go,now it doesn't.I don't think criticism of someones' personal decision to live their life their way justified.If it wasn't for AA it would have taken much longer to get my wheels back I'm sure,so for that I'm grateful.

When you're surrounded by AA nazis who are hell bent on "helping" you it gets a little difficult to stomach.  Especially when it gets into a custody issue.  

Its not just one person living their life their way.  AA is an institution in this country (and creeping into others) that is regarded by the courts as the 'one and only'.  If you reject AA and its principles and are caught up in the court system in ANY way, you're fucked.
