"The Pig Was Cool" is a song by Killdozer.

Yeah, and "Fuck The Police" is a song by NWA, and "Hate The Police" is a song by The Dicks that was covered by Mudhoney.  I sympathize with the sentiments of both songwriters.

I hear ya... In The Pig Was Cool, which is really kind of like a story set to music like most Killdozer songs are, the cop ends up getting high with the guy telling the story (in the song). The song talks about them being at a concert and realizing a cop just saw them getting high, but instead of busting 'em he takes a hit and says, "This is good shit..."

A band I used to be in opened for The Dicks in 1985.. Austin..some theater...

Ever seen Cocksucker Blues?  That's the movie the Masles Bros. originally released, but after the Stones' management decided it wasn't a good idea to show footage of the band members shooting up, cavorting with naked groupies, and generally being the Stones, so they took the film out of release.  You can find bootleg copies every so often.  Gimme Shelter was the compromise, using only footage of the Altamont show, rather than a tour documentary.

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

Some good mellow classical, highlighting the cello, on the radio at dawn on this dark winter morn. No specifics available...

No, but it's been on my "to see" list for years now; I definitely want to see that one. Another interesting Stones documentary / drama is the Jean-Luc Godard film One Plus One (aka Sympathy for the Devil).

Some of my favorite classical music is cello oriented, e.g. Vivaldi's cello sonatas. If I had to play a bowed instrument cello would be it, for its pleasing mid-range tonal qualities.

Yeah, One Plus One is a pretty interesting film.  I like hearing the evolution of "Sympathy For The Devil" and all the variations they recorded.  I used to have a bootleg LP soundtrack with about eight different versions of the song. The Black Power guys are pretty entertaining, too.  Ever seen the Goddard film Alphaville, about a secret agent that infiltrates a computer-governed city?  Cool shit.
